Edit by Moderator: Links removed in accordance with D.M.C.A. notification from CVS.

NOTE: These coupons were posted early (release date appears to be 5/15) on SD. They may not be active yet in the CVS system. So a strong YMMV as they will likely beep, and you might have to wait to 5/15 but after 5/15 manually Cashier can scan bar code or type it in or enter coupon code printed on the coupon (each denomination has it's own code)

Even if you were targeted with the last two batches of coupons, they would still beep and most cashiers would refuse to accept them. I wouldn't hold my breath on this batch either.

At the CVS store I shop at, I was told in the last targeted batch of coupons, every person who tried to use one, the coupon would beep...even if your name appeared on it. CVS needs to quit this targeted nonsense until they can get some qualified tech people to work it out.Otherwise, this is bait-and-switch tactics since most stores won't accept the coupons when they beep.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but does CVS let you use these coupons on forever stamps like at Walgreens?

Well maybe he doesn't have one yet. If you're gong to take the time to post at least answer the question.

Maybe it was just a few cashiers at your store, it definitely was not at "most" stores. The targeted coupons work fine, as they have for years now. But as I have said before, there are 3 ways to enter a coupon in the CVS register, your store obviously does not know the correct way to enter these. My stores (5) do and I have not had a problem with any of them. But everyone should be aware that CVS has instituted in the last upgrade a method to track who uses (or tries to use) coupons that were not intended for them. The pre-release coupons are released for just this purpose. Use any CVS coupons not sent to you at your own risk if you like the ExtraCare program and want to be able to take advantage of it in the future.

Based on the postings in the coupon thread for CVS on SD, I am correct. You appear to not know what you are posting about.

CVS has only "targeted" email coupons that are tied to your specific CVS card for the last few months NOT YEARS. In the past, all CVS coupons, regardless of whom they were emailed to, would work for EVERYONE. Now, for most EVERYWHERE, those coupons don't work. At best, they have to be "pushed" through. They don't work when the code is entered (beep). They don't work when scanned (beep).

CVS has never blocked me from using any coupons. ALL coupons have worked for me EXCEPT coupons that have been emailed and targeted TO ME for use on my card. I use the Welcome coupon EVERY shopping trip. In fact, I stack different Welcome codes in each order. Again, you really don't know what you are posting about.

You can use ANY CVS emailed coupon code a MINIMUM of 5-times in a 24-hour period.

I used these yesterday, 5/11. Used the $3 off $15 - no problem. I shopped around in the store and then used the $5 off $25 - problem. The young cashier said, "the number on the coupon doesn't match your CVS number." I told her it was emailed to me and I probably have a couple of different numbers because I used to always lose my card. She asked the manager and he said fine. So I got to use both. Yippee!!!

What number on the coupon was she trying to match? I've never seen my EC # on any Q or in its link, including the ones they send me directly.

The last email q I used beeped and had to be entered as a generic "store coupon" even though it had been sent directly to me. Great "improvement" in the system.

Thanks OP. The cashier entered all 10 off 50, 5 off 25, 4 off 20, 3 0ff 15 coupons on a total of 52 $. Came out paying just 30$+. Wow. And not to mention the additional 20 $ CVS cash for purchasing select crest and eucerin items. Thanks again
