I updated to NT 2009 maps as well. Anyone having an issue with their 330 not finding the satellite? Seems I have to drive away from home before it will work. I didn't have any obstructions either. Perhaps I need another antenna. Please advise.

That is the only issue with the C300 series. They have a very old GPS chipset that takes an extremely long time to acquire the signal. There really is nothing that can be done to rectify the issue....

OK thanks. Not a biggie. I saw that there was a spot to plug in an ext antenna so I thought I'd ask.

One thing I noticed on my c330 is that it came with Map version NT8...but when I registered the device with Garmin....I have the unlock codes for North America 2008!!!

I think I'll call them to get the install CD. Stand by for an update!

I think that's the same thing. I updated mine to 2009 though.

UPDATE - Just got off the phone with Garmin - Software Support. They are sending me the 2008 disc for FREE!

I know it's still old but 1 year newer than the one that shipped with the unit.
