To access this deal, go to Woot.com, click the side deal link to Overstock.com (at the top of the page) and it automatically gives you a $37.00 credit when transferring you to the Overstock web site. I purchased a Disney Winnie the Pooh DVD Player which was listed for $39.99 for a total of $5.94 (of which $2.95 was the shipping charge). I also discovered that the item selected must be more than the discount for the discount to apply, and only one discount per account.
1. Weekend 2. Slow ship time of 5+ days for orders 3. Overstock is on top of their IT stuff (generally). They use a nice teradata data warehouse for email marketing campaigns; the rest of their infrastructure can't be that far behind. 4. Massive influx of orders with people going nuts on this all weekend. 5. 21,000 views at SD and 3,000 at FW, you do the math.
Hey, guys, bad news.... I called up overstock support to confirm if this was a valid deal. They are aware of the issue and will be cancelling all orders
//edit Why are you downvoting me? I'm just saving you the time of wasted order that will get cancelled
Not working for me, am I doing something wrong. Trying to get DreamWorks Family Animated Movie Collection for $38.xx.

Why would you call them and confirm? Maybe everytime we see something like this we should all call immediately so no one has a chance to benefiit. Thanks DiK
I foresee a cancellation in my future, but worth a shot for ONE order. Those that go crazy (as this is designed for just the Nightstand), i.e. idiots trying multiple orders, will kill it for all...

Thanks a Ton, because of people like you my wallet is still Fat. I cannot avail of any good deals since you do not remember the basic rule .... DO NOT CALL. Is it really that difficult to follow. Do you often jump the red light?
MrHat7 said: it does have a banner that says woot one day special activated....maybe its legit
the "special" is dedicated to the nightstand. the fact that they didn't foresee/implement some sort of system-check for the item-in-cart doesn't make it legit.
if they let some orders through, they did it because they went "you caught us, you got in early before the masses/ genius that decided to call. you win." consider yourself lucky if they order gets shipped, and watch that next CC statement regardless.

Link is fixed, instead of getting $37 off it now only gives "free shipping" in the shipping box when you put the night stand in your cart.
