didn't see this listed but thought it was worth telling about. The Seagate store has the 250gb internal 3.5 inch ultra ATA drive for 40.00....the 160gb for 35.00...the model number on the 250gb is ST3250623A-RK. Been shopping for a cheap drive for a while...this seemed like a good deal.

Great post thanks. Hard drive does not list Vista as a compatible OS for the 250GB,160GB Hard Drives. I am not sure if that doesn't mean it will work but something to be informed of. Some other of their hard drives that are Vista compatible on this sight do have a big label on the page saying "WORKS WITH VISTA".
And, don't forget Seagate bundles a re-badged version of TrueImage with the DiscWizard software.
Edit: Ack! No AMEX for checkout, if that matters to anyone. MC/VISA only options presented to me on checkout.

Generally they don't have to charge tax if you're a reseller, because you charge tax to the consumer. If you check the box and you're not a reseller (or if you are, but then decide to use it instead of resell it), you're legally obligated to remit sales tax on the item to the state government.. And it may or may not be fraud. If they got audited, you'd be screwed. Not worth the hassle.
Anybody have any idea as to what 7200.xx series these would be? Does the .xx in the series indicate a time frame when they were produced or is it a model enhancment issue? TIA.
