Nice looking watch. Received an email from a new vendor wanting to get his site's name out there with this deal. I know nothing about this outfit. Cheapest price on Froogle appears to be $182.

I think we've pretty well beaten the "Invictas are definitely not as good as my Rolex/Tag/etc. " thing to death on previous Invicta deal postings here. We all know that you get what you pay for. Having said that, I have a dozen different Invictas, wear them daily, and none of them have ever failed. I buy for the looks and the affordability, not status or deep underwater performance. Your needs may be different.

Sorry, I don't think posting a hot deal on a name brand watch constitutes spam. No one is forcing you to read this deal. FYI, deal has been up on SD since yesterday, where the comments have been mostly very positive (I didn't post it there, BTW). However, your reply is the very definition of "thread crap."

I'm usually not a fan of quartz, but I like the look of this one. It will go well with my other Invicta automatics. Thanks OP!

Yeah, and I'm not a fan of white dial, but this one's not bad. I'm going to pass anyway, but points to OP for the post...it is a good deal.

Tempting, although I would like a silver/black dial better.

But good deal, and it is 100m resistant and most importantly has a SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

Good deal and is not spam.

Maybe it's just my eyes getting old, but I find that design extremely difficult to read.

Yea, I agree about the silver dial. I still haven't jumped on it yet b/c of that...something similar to the Hamilton Khaki King Scuba's silver colored dial would be nice.

These watches are always ugly.

Yeah, same here. Dial is too cluttered and the hands definitely don't stand out enough.

I'm never buying a watch without a sapphire crystal again. I'm one of those lucky guys who got a bunch of Victorinox watches for $39 from shopathometv.com, including the one I wear now the V7-22X Chrono Racer.

The sapphire is still crystal clear, and blemish free, yet the ring surround is scratched in many places. I've always been bad at hitting my arm against stuff, like when pulling my motorcycle out of tight spots and running the watch against the wall (better my wrist than the precious bar-ends!!)

FWIW

Ugly is a matter of opinion...

I agree 100%. My mineral crystal watches are scratched within days, but I'm rough on my sapphire crystal ones and they're still perfect. This is still pretty tempting...

True. Except for the Aztec. Thats is one UGLY car, regardless of opinion!!!!

Second2None said:All this talk about sapphire and mineral crystals, are these really made from sapphires, or is it glass coated with some form of sapphire compound?

It's ACTUALLY sapphire (albeit a synthetic one). It lacks minerals which make the natural sapphire have it's color.

I also got a PM from SharkStores asking me to post this deal from diamondshark.com

To prevent spammers, new members are not allowed to post deals right away so a PM may be their new spamming method
