Got a delay email for my Britannica. Something about this could be an advance sale item.

alert mods

I'm delayed on Britannica Concise Encyclopedia and Handmark® Scrabble®, Monopoly®, Battleship® & Yahtzee®. Other items shipped.

Just got an email saying 2G card was OOS and hence canceled from my order (that I placed 2 days ago) and the 4-game card was now back-ordered. I called and CSR said their server was down 2 days and messed up all their inventory (yeah right). Hope others are luckier than I. They sent the Dictionary anyways but said shipping was free still. One worthless rebate to fill out and no SD card

Only one rebate per person per household.

Thanks

I see that Palm has the 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB SD cards all with mail in rebates. If I buy all 3, can I claim all 3 of the different rebates (one for each card type)? The rebate details do not look like any such restrictions exist but I want to be 100% certain.

The 3 are:
http://store.Palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2921125
http://store.Palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2917532
http://store.Palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2919375

Looks like a fight coming out of this...

I ordered the 2gb SD card as well, and then got an email saying that it was OOS. The email did say that I got an advance sale confirmation saying that they will ship it when it becomes available. I hope the rebate will go through when the get more in stock.

Wishful thinking. Anyone receive theirs yet? I'm wondering what class card this is (2, 4, 6).

Sorry flap early bird gets a microSD card. And my thought is you are walking on thin ice for the rebates so no whining later. Good luck though.

Will using the 20% off code in the original post nullify the rebate?
the promotion details page says - "Offer cannot be combined with any other offer."

Thanks - G

As I had feared, Its only 1 rebate per household since its goes to same department. So, you can only get 1 SD card rebate.
Interestingly the response says per person per household. So, you could send in 1 on your spouse's/partner's name and 1 on your name. Although I am not sure if that will actually fly.

No, only one rebate per person per household.

Subject: PALM promotion question

Dear Sir:
The Palm Store has the product "Palm® 2GB microSD expansion card with miniSD and SD adapters" which comes with a $15 rebate. This rebate goes to "Dept. # R6150".

The Palm Store also has the product "Palm® 1GB microSD expansion card with miniSD and SD adapters" which comes with a $10 rebate. This rebate also goes to "Dept. # R6150".

Can I buy both products and get both rebates?

Please reply. Thanks.

I said earlier too, that it will not fly.
but some one here mentioned they have different names. but all of them are from the same offer number.

That's always a good question. I have called rebate companies in the past and they said what that means is you cannot use multiple rebates for the same purchase and such. They could care less what you paid for it. In this case the rebate is from palm too so there could be a chance it's not valid but that would be a stretch.

The 2 GB is out of stock. But I got the 1 GB for $0.99 shipped, after rebate.

Do you have a link for that one? I could use a 1GB for my Garmin. I don't know if you were able to get free shipping. If not it kills the deal. Gracias.

thanks for the heads-up. Going to give this another shot.

Going to the link for the 2GB card today, I'm finding that it is "IN STOCK, usually ships in 5 - 10 full bus. days" but I don't see any mention of a rebate. Anyone got the link to the rebate form?

In my experience in submitting many rebates, the ambiguous phrase "Only one rebate per person per household" means only one rebate form for that specific item or offer per person per household. With just that phrase, they can't restrict you from ever submitting another rebate to them again in your life!?!? If they meant for the rebate to restrict the consumer to only one of the 3 items, then they would/should have put all 3 items on one rebate form and gave you the choice of which one you wanted. Then you would be restricted to "only one rebate per person per household" and would only be able to get one of the items. As you can see, the rep only threw that one ambiguous phrase at you with no explanation... he probably doesn't know what it means, himself!

I'm in for the 512mb and the 1gb so far... as soon as I can find and confirm the rebate form for the 2gb, I'll be in for that, too.

They are not the same offer # - they have the same Dept #
- if you see standard rebate forms like paragon etc. there will be offer # and dept #.
That is why this should fly.

As I mentioned earlier the main question to ask is :

Can you use the rebate form 1gb form to file a rebate for 2gb card?
The answer is no.
Does the 1gb rebate form say you cannot file that rebate form if you file the form for 2gb card?
The answer is no.

So this should fly.

I plan to call the palm sales and if they also say multiple rebates will not fly then
they should allow me to return items or partial order.

I suggest that others who ordered multiple cards also call Palm Store and complain to customer service - it is their mistake - they should either honor rebates or allow returns of SD cards.

Where did someone mention that the rebates wouldn't fly? Did I miss something? All I'm seeing is that the rebate rep e-mailed back a reply of "Only one rebate per person per household." It's in the translation that people are getting confused and thinking they can't submit all 3 rebates. Nowhere in that rep's reply did it say you could only get one of the items and not all of them. I don't need to call, I'm just gonna submit.

You're right! Can't get the 2gb card with any other form but the one for the 2gb card. That's why I gotta ask again: Anyone got that 2gb card rebate link? IM me if you have a copy that you can e-mail me. Thx!

Hey, are you guys aware that there is a $20 MIR for the Palm® 4GB microSDHC expansion card with miniSD and SD adapters? I noticed that a couple of people mentioned it in passing. This item AR would result in a price of $11.99 (using 20% off code). For those of you planning on buying the other items and ending up with a profit of $10-$20, you might as well buy this... for the profit you plan on making on the other deals, you could get this ~FREE. [Unless you just don't need a 4gb card and you're happy getting a profit! ] Just a suggestion.

EDIT: AVAILABILITY: IN STOCK, usually ships in 1 - 2 full bus. days.
