Man, don't do this to me. The good ol' days of Palm and Psion... I think I'll buy in to this too...
Unfortunately, Palm is not the loser here. We all lost. Anyone remember Lotus or Borland? While I personally do not feel too bad about Lotus (they were busy wasting their money suing other smaller companies, Borland included) I do feel bad for companies like Palm and Borland. I hope they truly will come out with earth-shaking product that will get them back on their feet. I believe they have good technology (products).

I mean, PDA's in general haven't done well with the progressive integration of PDA features into phones (iPhone, Windows Mobile smartphones, etc).
The 1 Gig and the 512 Mb cards are FAR! Same address and dept# but different rebates so I'm pretty sure it will fly as they do not say anything about not combining with other offers etc.
Technically with the coupon in should make $13 + FC - TAX if all rebates clear but that reamins to be seen

Long back I bought Sudoku software from them. The $20 rebate was very late. Once I filed a complaint with BBB the Palm rep spoke to me and resolved the problem. I got the check after a long fight. Just a word of caution.
I ordered Sudoku and got the rebate in between 4-6 weeks. For me, the Palm rebates have arrived in a timely manner. With any promotion or rebate, I make copies of everything I sumbit, just in case there is a problem.

i just realized i made 2 mistakes:
1) i should have waited and do it FAR.
2) palm branded accessories warranty period is only 1 yr. that is if this microsd is considered palm-branded accessories.
oh well....... pqi microsd warranty is lifetime and i have dealt with them before. pqi's rma process is as good as kingston
hmm... Is the 4gb card a okay deal? I need a mini sd card.
Will the rebates work? since it says 1 per person? I was thinking of getting the 4gb/2gb/1gb to get free shipping.

I have done few palm deals and never had a problem.
I still doubt buying multiple SD card to get all of them FAR. since all the SD card have same promotion but different rebate amount, I do not want to risk.
I have palm device so all these things will work. but most of the SD card adapters are generic, means they can be used with any phones/devices.
may b the software require palm OS to operate but not the micro SD cards.

Should be ok, they are different deals. Same rebate address, but the title of each rebate is different. It is not like "buy one of the following" type rebates.

Thought about going all out w/ free shipping FAR software I didn't need and more SD cards, but didn't want to risk the hassle of fighting for the extra rebates.
I am a bit hesitant to jump since I never did a palm rebate before plus since it stated "Offer cannot be combined with any other offer" I wonder if using the coupon will affect it. For some reason none of the FAR softwares seemed compatible with 755p? Do they even make good softwares for 755p or they already dumping support for it down the drain?

The basic question to ask is "can the rebate form for one product be used for another product" and the answer is clearly "NO" - so go ahead and buy all of them.

reading the promotion details, I worry about the last two lines, what if too many FW rebate requests and they terminate the offer, does it mean they don't have to honor the rebate requests?

Rebate checks for Encyclopedia and for Merriam Webster Dictionary arrived in the mail today. I just called palm on a weekend, nobody tried to help me, so I told them I will have to reverse the charge. And here comes the rebates. Finally thanks.
