ACE rebates is NOT available at all stores. You have to buy these stuff at ACE stores that participates in the rebate programs. Sale prices might be valid at all stores but not rebates. |

My Ace does not accept those cards during these sales since the cards usually exclude sale price items - so YMMY brotherhpj said:I just got a $5off$15 coupon card in the mail from ACE so keep an eye out for that. |

To check if your local store is participating, either call them, or look the store up on their site and check the current ads. If the Grand Opening ad is there under your store, you're good to go. |

There is a $5.00 coupon in their calendar. I dont have the coupon as I gave it to my dad to use but im thinking it was $5.00 off $25 and dont know if there are exclusions. It was the coupon for June. If you dont have a calendar you might want to ask your local Ace if they have any left. They are free. |

Even if they are participating that doesn't mean that they have all items. Also, our store basically won't restock once sold out of an item. |

My store always has the rebate items stacked out front in a special display-- but once they're gone, they're gone. Usually I stop by before work and cherry pick what I want |

Same here, single display while they last, they never restock. And I always have had good luck with their rebates. This month I actually had to call because it said that I purchased more than rebate stated, but I didn't on that receipt. I think it may have errored because I used my REWARDS card a second time on a second rebate to a different address. Anyways, I called and no problem and another check is on the way. Other than that you get email updates to your rebate, 99% it works out great! I haven't tried the online e-bate yet, going to try that this month. |

So, it is upto the owner whether to participate in the program or not. This is one of the reasons why the service is so good. |

The St Pete Times (Tampa Bay area) has a 4 page full color pull out ad in yesterday or today's edition. It shows the participating local stores. It also has a disclaimer on that (back) page saying in part, "The prices are suggested by Ace Hardware Corp and may vary at independent Ace retailers.....some prices may be higher, some may be lower. We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If an item is OOS, Ace retailers may be able to offer a suitable replacement or a "rain check"......please see store for details." Also "Quantities are limited" So being independently owned there are lots of variables. Of the 7 stores listed, it says below each "Ace Rewards, Post Office Sub Station, Propane Service" or nothing, as appropriate........ BTW "Members earn DOUBLE POINTS for every dollar spent 6/27, 28 & 29!" I will be there tomorrow for some freebies.... |
