if there are 4 items in a "group", and it says "limit 4 rebates", can I buy 4 of one of the skus? I can't find the rebate form for these 3 days to confirm

went to my local ace..apparently the drills were the truly hot items, they went first. Given that ace rebates are solid, and just one form, and many of the items were more than one, it was worth my time (and gas!). Picked up $75 worth of items that I would use anyway (glass cleaner, bug spray, etc), and also my ace (not sure about yours) had a "$5 off your next purchase" for spending more than $25 there, so that sweetened the pot. Good deal if you are nearby or going anyway on stuff you'll use up regardless.

My local Ace will not take coupons on sale/rebate items. Still spent almost a $100...2 gals of paint was $50 of it. A few things were gone at 10:00 AM......Trying to do the click rebates now, but website is sloooooooooooowwwwwww.....very sloooooooooowwwwwww...

There over lunchtime and the store was mostly out of the FAR items already. Still grabbed a load of useful things though. Thanks OP.

Spend $55 on stuff I'll use anyway. And they gave me a free reusable cotton bag for spending more than $50!

Same here, one month to the day.

Went to the local Ace at 3:30pm and the only rebate items left were Shout and Fantastic.
I grabbed a microfiber cleaning cloth for .99 to dry my tears.

Do you guys think the Makita drill kit is worth getting versus the $29.97 Ryobi drill deal at Home Depot? The Makita comes with 2 batteries (versus only 1 for the Ryobi), flashlight and case. Plus it's a hammerdrill (good if you need to do masonry stuff, which I don't). Is that worth the $50 difference in price?

These are actually in Smart Source, not Valassis (Red Plum).

Got everything I wanted. Cashier gladly took my $5 coupon, thank OP.

The store I had been in the morning said that they were not participating in the sale. It meant that they may not have all the sale items and their system would not automatically ring up the sale prices. But they said they would gladly match the sale price and still can do the rebates online ok.

I did buy whatever I could find ....they refused the $5 Entertainment coupon.....but now I am concerned with the rebate now. I did go for a second store in the afternoon and was able to find all the items except for the 99c rope. They gladly took my $5 coupon. I am not concerned about the rebate for the second store as they were having the sale.

Such a hassle !!

My first ace was out of most sales item on Friday evening. Second Ace this morning had half a dozen items I wanted, so I picked them up, but the cashier got all flustered when I handed over coupons for insect repellent and another for the tire thingie: "you can get the coupon or the rebate", and then proceeded to individually change the prices of those items to reflect the coupon instead of just taking those amounts off at the end like is usually done.

Not sure how this will affect my rebate, so let's see.

Ace stores are individually owned so coupon policy is up to the individual store and manager. Sometimes my Ace will take coupons and sometimes not depending on which manager is on duty.

Yes get the Makita. I have owned dewalt, makita, bosch & ryobi drills.

The dewalt was the worst followed by the ryobi. Plus how can you have a drill with one battery, invariably it will go dead in the middle of your projects. I've never had any problems with my makitas and i've beat em pretty good.

Re: Ace Royal Paint 1 gallon Interior / exterior, buy one get one free

Do both of them have to be on the same reciept for the rebate? I'd like to use 2 coupon and split the order?

I went by my local Ace Hardware yesterday. No specials--just guns, guns, guns. Shoot!
