i chose these a while ago, after quite a bit of research, and i love them.
they list for $80, typically sell for around $50 or $60. the egg has them now for $29.99, free shipping, no tax in most states. use FatCash to get 1% back (30 cents).
if you can scrounge any old (even dead) pair of earbuds or headphones, they'll give you $15 for them as a trade-in, making your final cost $29.99 - 0.30 FatCash - 15.00 trade-in = $14.69.
NOTE: you can only do one trade-in per household, so if you order more than one, only the first is $15, and the rest are $30 (still a great deal IMHO).
"Headphone exchanges are limited to one per customer, household, or organization per rebate form submission. Headphone exchanges greater than (1) per rebate form will be discarded."
I read that as you can do more than one as long as they're done separately. I did the PX100 deal earlier, and will be submitting for this separately.

Is this a good deal, or should I wait for a deal on the Creative EP-630? (I think they're the same?)

Thanks for the rebate form... I guess I must of over look earlier because the rebate form is now available on Newegg.com I read some really good review on this headphone, for the price of 15.00 RB, I think it's a pretty good deal. That's just my two cent.

haha.. I am in for one pair. finally, those earbuds from flights are not totally useless. as owner of Cx300B($49 when it first came out),4-5 pairs of EP630, E3c, PK2, a bunch of full-size headphones. I've never seen authentic CX300 below 30 bucks!

looks like you don't have to buy from egg to be qualified for rebate though. Google other places and I found one for $20.99. But any one got experience shopping there before?

ALL CX300, regardless of color (S, B, W) are accepted for rebate as long as its from an authorized retailer. The question is, is this company one of those?

Price is too good to be true - probably fake ones. The web site is located in Hong Kong...

great deal OP! fit my order in late last night. i bought a pair of marshmallows, and they really just dont work for my ear canals. if these fit anything like the ep630's then i'll be extremely happy (the last three I had had one of the channels crap out).
I ordered the CX300S and got my rebate tracking number in my email today.
Status Detail: Invalid. Invalid Reasons: Invalid UPC Number
Anyone else?

I think the reason you got a invalid UPC # is there are 2 bar codes on the package(UPC barcode & EAN barcode).I made a mistake & sent in the wrong one.Now I got to find another junk set of earbuds & resend it.
