Another topic for the same offer was post only 5 minutes later. There are more discussion over there. Here is the info I provided over there:
I found a coupon in the confirmation email (purchase this mouse with Nexxtech Laptop travel kit $39.99/FAR):
save 10% on computer and laptop accessories* To receive this discount, print your entire confirmation email and bring it to your local Circuit City store. Coupon valid only on same day as in-store pickup of item(s) listed in order confirmation email. ...... (you'll have your own coupon code)
I hope this coupon is valid for this purchase. Then combine this coupon and 2% FW rewards, it is not only enough to cover the tax (6% in MD) and stamps but also make some profit. The rewards from credit card is extra earning.
Is the CircuitCity $40 rebate still valid if I use 10% coupon? rebate amount > purchase price.
who has experience of CircuitCity rebate with coupon? thanks

I just received mine today ,it looks real nice, the part shipped was item #15545 not the 14462 ordered (and showing on the packing slip) ,, specs seem to be the same BUT no rebate form in the box ,, no rebate listed on the CC website ,, no rebate listed anywhere I search on their site under the manufacturers name ,, rebate was shown on website the day I ordered ??? How to proceed .. Do you pick up the form at a local CC? Is their CustServ worth calling?

OK ,, finally found it the rebate was a link in the order confirmation e:mail that simply said "20" ,, hidden real good..
God, I love the way these companies try to pull fraud on their consumers w/ the rebate game!
My product was delivered yesterday - with a peeled on UPC covering up the original one/ the one that the rebate wants (with the correct item number listed on the rebate form).

Grrrrrthanks for the heads up. I'm glad I procrastinated mailing mine out.
edit: did you try to peel it off? both the sticker and the original upc have the correct # (14462).
My sticker says Item # 15545 with a completely different UPC, that being 810699010682. These are both different from the item # and UPC listed on the box.
I have a bad feeling about this rebate. Check out the website: http://www.lhbrands.com (clue: there isn't one).
It's also company fullfilled, by a company that doesn't have a website.
I'm going to return mine to the store:
Merchandise purchased online through CircuitCity.com (regardless of whether you picked it up at a store or had it delivered to your home), which meets the return guidelines for online purchases, may be returned via mail to our authorized return center. Before returning anything by mail to us, you first must login and obtain a Return Authorization ("RA"). Any returns mailed to us without a pre-approved RA may be refused without notice, automatically returned and a handling fee may be assessed. An RA is valid for 10 days.
You may also return your merchandise to one of our stores, in which case a credit will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase. For merchandise purchased with a gift card as the sole payment method, we will refund the balance due to you back to a new gift card unless the balance is less than $5 or prohibited by law.
Thanks... You answered before I found the answer...
For those of you risking the rebate, use a hair dryer to peel off the "fake" UPC. The real one is underneath.

Does anyone one get the rebate information for Trust Laser Combi Mouse? Such as confirmed email or rebate link. Sent out my rebate 10 day before. No feedback yet.

I just called these guys at the number provided and they were really nice at helping me find out that they have received my rebate forms etc.
Also, I told them that I had not peeled the upc sticker off the cardboard box, and if needed, the "matching upc" code can be found underneath this sticker label. The operator said that they needed both the labels, and I did the right thing by not peeling the sticker off. I hope the sales representative is not taking me for a ride, but just wanted to give you all heads up here.

Did you receive anything yet? I sent the rebate out 40 days ago and still received nothing. There is no website that I can go to track the rebate. Fingers crossed.

dentalcn said: Hi anyone got the rebate? please provide the number to call them and ask status...thanks Not seen the rebate check yet. Tried calling them at 866-531-3551 but always goes into voice mail. I did send an email to support@lhbrands.com and got a reply that my rebate is valid and should get the check in another 2-3 weeks.
Send an email to support@lhbrands.com and follow up.

Does anyone really get the rebate. I submitted on July 10th. Finally the guy said the check was sent out almost one month ago. but all the street name, city name and zip code were wrong. they said because my handwriting was not clear. they may re-issue a check one week later. this may be the second worst rebate i submitted. the first one I totally lost it.
All lies I think . Below is an email exchange with the only guy who picks up the phone there (I have edited out my identifying information). Despite what he claimed, I still haven't received my rebate. And I sent in a typed form. No chance of mistakes due to their claim of unreadable hand writing. This by far may be my worst rebate experience ever, and I have done plenty.

Thanks for responding to my inquiry. Are you saying that it was mailed last Friday
or does the mailing department take its own time mailing the checks out? I am going
out of the country for an extended period and it is imperative that I receive my
rebate within the next couple of days.
Thanks for your consideration,
deepwallet

deepwallet,
The mailing department usually only takes about 1-2 days to seal the rebate and
send it out. You should be receiving it very shortly.

To submit my rebate form I peeled off the UPC sticker to reveal the correct one (that is, the one referenced in the rebate form). Didn't hear back for almost three months after mailing. I emailed an inquiry about what's going on with the rebate. Response:
Thank you for your rebate inquiry. We have received your rebate request, although it seems part of the submission was missing. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the rebate form which state that you must send in the original UPC barcodes. It seems the sticker barcode on top of the card-board was peeled off and discarded, not attached to the submission as it should have been.
Please feel free to re-send this UPC (along with a copy of this letter) to me at the address below and I would be more than happy to re-examine your rebate and submit it for processing.

It took 16 weeks, and 4 emails to this Matthew David person, but I finally got my rebate.
My check was printed in mid or early-October, but wasn't mailed out to me until I sent ANOTHER email to this guy last week. I got my check this week.
Trust rebates are definitely NOT trustworthy! I will NEVER buy one of their items again - not that I had any plans on doing so...but if I ever did, those are canceled.

I still haven't received mine yet. Was told in September that I should expect the check in 1st week of October. Well, nothing arrived yet. Just tried to call today and that number even no longer taking calls! Does email work? I am afraid my email will just go nowhere just like last time when I tried to email. (Well, at least last time, I was finally able to catch somebody on the phone). Any tips? Thanks a lot for all your help!

Same here....I was told that I will receive my rebate check in Oct on my first enquiry. Have not seen a check yet. Send 2 mails to them but no reponse from them. Thinking of filing a complaint with BBB. I would never buy anything from them again. Shame on CC for doing business with such crooks !

These guys are fraud. They told me the exact opposite reason to reject. That I send the sticker UPC and they told me that's not the original. Everyone should file complaint against these guys in AG office & FTC.

The message I received referred to "UPC barcodes". I think this means they expect both the peel-off label and the underlying UPC that is part of the box.
I sent an inquiry several weeks after I sent the peel-off (making both UPCs sent). The reply was that the check had been mailed two weeks ago, hadn't I received it?

I just got a failure notice for my email to "support@lhbrands.com", "not able to establish an SMTP connection". So those crooks just took our money and ran away? What can we do next?

I'm no expert on rebates, so I may be asking for help on what to do about renegade rebate processors.
However, you can try contacting Circuit City's main rebate information lines, with phone number and email address given at the bottom of this web page:
Also, you could try contacting the manufacturer, Trust Computer, to ask if they know of the problematic rebates from Circuit City being associated with their products. Don't expect the manufacturer to solve the problem since they didn't create it, but it would be good if they knew because this sort of thing can damage the reputations of each company involved.
