Those who are using the %10 coupon, watch out for the CC rebate closely. They may invalidate your rebate due to invalid purchase price. CC is notorious for this. |

The terms and conditions state that they reserve the right to LOWER (not invalidate) the rebate, if a price-match or promotion is used. None of those fit here, but at most, all they can do is LOWER the rebate amount, not invalidate it all together. Just in case though, I paid with AMEX to cover myself (plus, the rebate doesn't require you to cut out the UPC, so if anything, you can always return it to CC). |

Did anyone else get a 256MB thumb drive instead of a 512MB drive? My UPC is 8-37318-00349-8 and the product code is NNBKIT. |

be careful - there are 2 travel kits - one of them has a 256 mb thumbdrive instead of 512 mb . it is labeled on the outside of the package which thumbdrive is in the kit. |

Just one problem: the kit on the CC website has the same UPC # as the kit with the 256MB drive. Furthermore, if you enlarge the picture on the CC website it looks like it says "256mb USB Flash Drive" on it. |

CC is notorious for this. You are absolutely right, I asked the cc representative before using the 10% coupon, and they said if the total price less than $40 before tax, then the rebate is not eligible for this purchase. So I did not used the coupon... any way I have a gift card from last year.. this is the nice way to cash out. |

mnsweeps said:do not use the 10% off coupon.....will be in trouble..Each CC rebate has a defined minimum purchase price. The MPP is usually set at 80% of the selling price. Normally, 0% to 20% off would be OK, but as always, YMMV. |

I still haven't picked this travel kit from the store yet, but before I do, I just would like to know if they will reject the rebate because I didn't pick it up before 7/5. The rebate says its valid only on purchases between 7/3 and 7/5. Is actual order date considered purchase date or is it on the day that its actually picked up? |
