Why the red? I'm confused. I just rent everything, but how is this not a deal?

I agree that this is a deal. Although you can sometimes get new DVDs for $4, this seems like a good deal for what is likely a much broader selection.

I believe it has something to do with the not-very-descriptive title.

If I wrote a post that had a title that said "TV cheap", I imagine it would get red. However, if I wrote "Sharp 42" 1080p LCD TV $1099 at Fry's", I think I might get more positive feedback.

Ciantx, you might want to utilize the guide that comes up when you're making your deal post. It's very useful.

When I went in Wednesday, it was buy 4 selected DVDs for $20. Selection was about 25 movies that just became not New Release.

Anyway, what YMMV stand for? I'm new here...

skip, it means "your mileage may vary" indicating that the deal may be different (or non-existent) for different people at different locations.

It eludes to the car commercials that advertise "This car gets 35mpg!" and then at the end put a disclaimer indicating "your mileage may vary".

... and then I get red for just asking? That's mature...

Apparently not happening in Lancaster, PA, judging from the two stores I peeked into today. The $9.99 titles were 4/$20. They had the usual small pile of $3.99 titles elsewhere.
