Is this the price of one bulb? Because you can get 8 of these GE made at SAMS club for about $11 or a little more. I am assuming the 60@ is the normal CFL bulb that you use indoors. But if its a pack of 6 or 8 then I might have to go and check

Just so you guys know: CFL that Lowes sells are much better quality than the ones that Costco/Sams sells. Quicker turn-on, longer life, better color.

Bought a 6 or 8 of the Lowes "Bright Effects" bulbs on sale around Thanksgiving for about $1 @.
Can confirm these are good bulbs with fast response.
Will have to drop over and see if I want to buy more if they have them on sale around here.

Decent price. However, I bought 2 of these floodlight bulbs and both died in less than a year. I would stay away and look for deals on Envision bulbs. Also, you can get a good deal at Costco on an 8 pack of 13 watt CFL bulbs for around $12.

The amount of mercury in the bulb is insignificant compared to the thermometers people put IN THEIR MOUTHS for 100 years. Don't be scared of a light bulb.

Yeah, but it was still sealed in glass. A broken thermometer, or a broken cfl lamp is a whole different ballgame.
