You can make this deal even better if your OD will accept the 20% HP coupon (that you received in the mail) on top of the PM. You would make $60 on the deal.
Does it matter if I ask for a pricematch right at the time of purchase at OD or should I buy it 1st then go back a day or so later and have them pricematch. I am thinking this might prevent the "why don't you buy it at OM instead" that I have heard of? Anyone has had that experience ?
I just bought one at Office Depot, online, but its not available online at OfficeMAX entering the zip codes i put in....can I do all this price matching over the phone instead of going to the store?
I just bought one online and called them for PM. The CSR is telling me that they can only pricematch regular priced items and not on sale items. Since it is on sale at OM, they cannot PM. Never heard that. Has OD PM policy changed?
I picked up the M2727nf, really like it, espeically for the network scanning.

I called to pricematch and the lady said that the item is discontinued, therefore, they can't price match and informed me that the item won't arrive. How come I could complete the check out??
Speaking of which, I now have TWO extra of the 20% off coupons. If anyone needs them, I'll mail them to you, as I have no plans to use them. Also comes with a $20 off $100 coupon, which you won't be able to use on the printer unless you somehow convince the CSR to over-ride the system and put it in manually. Requirements: must have 1,000+ posts on FW. No n00bs or lurkers. You pay s/h, only the cost of the envelope + stamp. Do not PM me; post here in this thread. PMs will be deleted and publicly ridiculed.

Hence, you'll probably find a lot of OD B&M stores are OOS. I got the last one at the OD by me.

I would like to have the coupon. Please let me know if you can send it to me or not. Thanks.

Got same response about not price-matching to OM sale price.
I still have it. The card is from BoA. Although just now realized I bought using discover (to get 5%) and now they don't have it online to buy it using my AMEX.
techdriving said: Are u talking about AMEX BVG? LOL, old time story. They cancelled BVG for a long time.

It seems to me you would have no problem doing the pricematch at Circuit City B&M. They aren't one of the retailers excluded by the rebate terms AND there is no mention of the HP rebate at CC so they wouldn't try to factor that into the equation.

CC link to PM policyYeah, that should work fine of course. If there were an OM near me, I might actually try to do the PM and then return the printer to OD for a refund, seeing as it would be cheaper that way:
$599.99 (CC price) - $330 (110% CC PM) = $269.99 + $18.90 tax (7% FL) = $288.89 - $300 HP MIR = -$11.11
The deal @ OD was $599.99 - $120 (20% cpn) = $479.99 + $33.60 tax (7% FL) = $513.59 - ($150 OD MIR + $300 HP MIR) = $63.59
I'd be able to save another $74.70 IF the HP MIR was still valid, which I don't see an issue with IMHO. Heck, I might still try to get CC to PM OM if I can find an OM ad somewhere (I'll need something to take into the store.) I'm still within the 14-day return period, and since I'd be returning a sealed/unopened printer, there shouldn't be a restocking fee.

No go on pricematch by phone. I was told they will not price match for sale items at another store. I asked to do a pricematch and was asked if it was for the bla bla bla AIO printer. They know about this and will deny by phone.
I might get one. I triedd CC. After talking to somebody in a foreign country, she checked the website and her manager. They aproved, but asked me to buy it at $599 first, and told me I will get refund in 3 to 4 business days after purchase.
I called and they said that this printer was discontinued. I didn't even bother to ask for phone # for the nearest store because it's out of stock most likely, and difficult to match in store with $300 difference...

Tried 3 times with CC. The sales department was almost ready to do the PM but the managers shut it down every time. Got transfered to customer service every time and they said OM is not a direct competitor, only BestBuy is. Was worth a shot.
Ordered this morning before church. Called back just now. Was told same bs about sale item. Quoted price match policy from web site. Finally her supervisored did agree to price match, but she had to cancel orginal order, so no FatCash, but then place new order for 299.99, with a total for $320.24 delivered including tax.
so, $20.24 for a six hundred dollar plus printer, yea, THANKS OP.
Anyone upgraded the memory in the M2727NF? Looking online, it seems like it takes pc2-3200 144-pin sodimm, max 256mb added to the 64mb it comes with for a total of 320mb.
I found it for $17.09 plus $2 shipping online... Anyone done this already and have advice? Or got a better price?
