I got the 6200 version FAR a while ago. crashed my computer and now I can't go on standby and I can't go back to my old card. wtf.

I'm pretty sure I got a free one of these from Fry's a year and a half ago. How many did they order and how long are they going to be selling these antiquated agp cards?

I disagree with using Outpost in a title. That is a defunct name that no longer applies.
However, I do agree with his statement about searching by product. Too many times, people search for Best Buy or BESTBUY or bestbuy.com, or CircuitCity or Circuit City. Or Frys or FrysElectronics or Frys.com etc etc etc.
Additionally, searching by item will let you know if somebody found a better deal OR when the last deal on that item was posted. IMHO, whoever advocates searching by store only is a MOO-RON!! Always search by item... and, oh yeah, DO NOT CALL!
That said, this is a great deal. EVGA pays rebates FAST! Good card to flip for $20 on Craigslist, or to put in a kids machine or office worker. Thanks OP and mod!

Trouble maker? You mean just because I don't agree with the way you search for repost and the FACT that you get annoyed when people found that you posted a repost, I'm a trouble maker? Did you remember I said "PLEASE search" when I pointed out the repost in the other thread...only to be met with your ignorant attitude. Be a man and own up to your mistake.
I also got the 6200 version 256 MB AGP FAR a while ago -- early June 2008 I bleieve. It is working just fine in my computer. Very happy with it. Rebate came through in a little less than one month thereafter. $45 with $45 MIR was a good deal. shipping to me in MI was $6.03. Good deal then & I bleieve this deal will be good too for the 128 MB although I'd like to buy another 256 MB AGP.

6200LE comes once in a while for FAR, and it goes out of stock real quick. Keep a watchful eye for it, you should see it in a few weeks.

That wasn't very nice...
I had a similar issue with the eVGA 45-45 deal: I was upgrading from an FX5200, installed the latest nVidia drivers on my MCE machine and BOOM...screen was whacked (tho' not crashing). Went into safe mode, uninstalled the L&G drivers, and installed the drivers from the CD...no problemo. And the LiveTV picture seems to look considerably better with the 6200 than it did with the old FX5200.

will this yield the same result as just reinstalling the drivers from the CD? I tried that and it doesn't work. my pc boots up fine, but i can't get back from standby and my ethernet card stopped working. replaced the psu but it didn't help. thanks.
Picked one up at the local Fry's. Total is $3 for tax plus $0.42 for postage

Probably not. If you don't uninstall the L&G drivers first, many of the older files from previous drivers will not overwrite the newer files. However, you previously said you can't go to standby...now you say can't get back from standby. Since we now know you've lost your ethernet as well, I suspect something completely unrelated to hardware is causing your problems...
