grasswhacker said:JB-007 said:Is this for real. I don't want to be going 200 miles to be disappointed by sales gimmick.

There was no gimmick. MSRP $26500. They then took off $7100, added state tax + license/reg fee then reduced the $3500 REBATE.
Total discount $10600.00, just as the ad said. No hassle.
I was so excited I called others I knew about the deals being offered.
They had about 5-6 Quests left, 3 Pathfinders, 2-3 Xterras and several pickups. You should call before traveling that distance, to see what they have left. It was busy this morning.
Glenn Nissan 1-800-880-5020

$26500 - $7100 + $1431 taxes + $299.50 license/transfer/service fee - $3500 = $17630.50

I have '03 Pilot and I like it a lot. It gives me 27mpg and 0 problems.

absolutely impractical 3rd row seating.. tight leg room overall (if u r a bit tall).. Pilot to me is just a glorified CRV.. (well, i certainly wasn't feeling the same way when I bought it though.. )

It's probably worth mentioning that you got a fixed-amount discount. So on more expensive vehicles, the percent difference would be less. The title says 40% off, but that's really only for a $26,500 vehicle. Might want to change the title to reflect that...

For example, when I bought my Ford truck a few years ago, I got about $11k off of a $29.5k truck. Despite saving even more money, the percent difference is less than 40%. If I had saved $8.5k like you did, it would only be a savings of less than 30%.

Same here - worked in IE when I tried it... didn't work in FF.

Actually, I remember a couple of years ago it already was B1G1. A dealership in NJ was giving a Sentra for free when you buy a Maxima for MSRP.

Good deal for someone who wants one of these cars. Glenn Nissan is a pretty good dealership as well - I bought a used Maxima there long time ago when I lived in Lexington.

I heard B1G1 on the radio once, but when I called down to the dealership to figure out what it was all about, they informed me that the free car was used.

Wolfchase Nissan in Memphis appears to have similar deals. Look at the ad in the middle of their front page.

Just got a letter from Harte Nissan in Hartford CT basically talking about similar deal.
Doesn't have exact numbers as examples but talks about clearing out minivans, trucks and SUV's with savings up to $14k from MSRP.

Also mentions 0% financing for 60 months.

As mentioned earlier, turn off adblock. This fixed the FF issue for me.

Maybe they should pay you to take the car off their hands....
