Microsoft Windows Ultimate Upgrade Signature Edition.

Wow. They really need to shorten their product names.

Does this version upgrade a Home Premium version (legal eligibilty?) Cuz this is a smoking deal (less than half cost of almost any other reputable vendor.)

alert mods

The real question is ... since this is an Ultimate upgrade does it allow you to downgrade to XP?

I'm in for one. Signature edition is interesting...

Current order status is "Delivery Delayed"

That's what it is supposed to do and it's legal. People have reported a workaround to use this upgrade disc for FULL CLEAN install as well. Here is the link.

This is being sold at this price as it is pre SP1. But no sweat as SP1 will be downloaded automatically after you upgrade.

Thanks for the green guys.

super hot! definitely in for 1. ultimate = x86 AND x64 on the same disc. Green for you, OP!

Thanks, OP! I always like to have an extra license handy, and this is close to the deal back in '01 where we got the XP glitter lamp and Windows XP Pro Full for $50 (I'd take a Steve Balmer bobble-head over Mr. Bill's signature, though, this time around. )

Thanks OP !

I used to think the same thing until I started using Vista -on a good computer.

You need lots of memory - 3 gig min, and a fast processor, and it'll work great.

We had vista on cheap computers at work and it suked. I bought a good laptop, and vista works really well, so much so, that I am willing to upgrade my home PC. I will be selling 2 XP pro's on eBay to do so. I wouldn't part with my XP unless I really liked Vista.

2 cents
