For Expressway Authority users who want to register and sign your life away (just all your personal info really) to get in the fast lane...

The coupons will be distributed in the cash/receipt lanes of the Conway West Plaza on State Road 408, beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until all 2,000 coupons have been distributed.

Side benefit: This transponder is good for the Turnpike as well.

Someone post about what these are going for now normally? Im sure its enough to keep it in hot deals anyway.

Thanks for the deal.
However, it's not really free unless you're driving this route anyway (in which case you will probably already have a transponder), because you gotta pay the 75 cent toll when going thru the toll plaza.

The sell in the stores for $25.

Thanks, they've gone down in price the last few years then. There are however no shortage of cars without E-Pass that go through that plaza. Even more than tolls the thing to factor in these days is how far you are away from the freebie.

Likely last chance on this although I have no idea what may be left. Im suprised there was no interest at this price.

dammit.. i just bought one 2 weeks ago.. never activated it yet.. still sitting here in its package

watch out with sunpass. if their equipment doesn't work and the thing doesn't go off they like to issue tickets without notifying you. my wife had this happen to her. when she went to renew her license she found out it was suspended because she hadn't paid a ticket that we never received or were notified about. if it doesn't go off make sure you call them. i still love the conveniece though. especially the lanes that go completely around the toll booths.

Did you recently move and did not update the address with Sunpass? It seems that a bulk of the E-Pass/Sunpass issues were from customers not changing their address with the agency(s).

I had an issue with a dead battery in my transponder on the older units, there is no way to verify battery life. Didn't get a light or beep when I passed a toll plaza. I would check the toll account online and it would show (I-Toll) which means they used the plate to deduct from my account instead of the transponder. Never received a ticket.

Do you know if they check across Sunpass / E-pass platforms? iow, if I have a Sunpass and use E-toll plaza that does not respond; will E-pass folks be able to verify I have an active Sunpass and deduct toll using my plate?

They have a new unit that is really nothing more than a RFID tag like you'd have on merchandise to stop theft... The RFID version costs only $5 but has no beeper or light so it leaves you in the dark as to whether it read correctly or not...

FrugalDutchman Im not sure. My guess is they would try to match although if they didnt you would get "the letter" based on your tag info.
