I did it last week with the $100 & $150 rebates. Both have been received - I'll keep you informed as to what happens.
Also, I saw in another thread that this laptop might have a cheaper sale price next week to price match to.
It is a fine laptop for surfing and wp'ing....the speakers really are horrible though.

The computer serial # - which will be on the same label as the UPC.
There is no space provided so I just wrote it on the form.

As an eBay seller, I right now have maybe 24 of the D1560 or D1455..... Another 50 or so sold. whole or in part. Selling the ink alone nets more that the whole thing....after all costs.
Many went to Stapels when they were giving $50 off an HP printer with any trade in. And some to OD, they only gave $40
Steevareeno said: Is this processor a Core 2 Duo or just a regular Pentium D? I have tried doing some research, but I'm having trouble. Thanks
neither. it's a pentium dual core. effectively a dual core celeron. still good for most of their customers that want their computer to do "internet, music, myspace, and email"

avgary said: Nice idea but fwiw, the not so fine print says "Limit 1 rebate(s) or other promotional offer(s) per item purchased."
This makes it a little too easy for them to deny the extra CC rebate.
It is also referring the THAT one rebate. Example, Staples rebates say the same. Laptop had 2 ER. One for $50 and one for $50 Visa card. And another rebate for a printer, all went though ok.

This laptop is back on sale at $550 with $120 instant savings bringing it down to $430. There is also a $30 "Easy Rebate" which I am told can be done online without mailing and the store will reimburse me if I don't receive it. So they list the final price as $400.
On top of that, since the local store only has returned units, they are willing to give me a 10% discount (off the pre-rebate price) on one that has been restored. It still has the original 1 year warranty. So the end price after markdown is $357. I think I'll take it when it passes "restore" and test.
