How do we know that it's exactly MSDP8GB-40-664 as the rebate form requires?

Does anyone have the read and write speeds specs on these?

free shipping is alive again, it showed up, so I just placed the order.

Great...thanks OP and thanks for the update. Picked up 1.

I didn't see free shipping when I ordered last night, but got free ship to store option, so took that, and my order is ready for pickup.

sweet, thanks for the pricegrabber rebate

I have no use for this, but in true FW style, and since it's back in stock... I'm in for one.

Same here. In for one. I'll find out what it can be used on, then start topic alerts on those stuff.

I brought 3. Does anyone know how to submit the rebate correctly?
a. Sending in three rebate forms with 3 UPC in the same envelop.
b. Sending in one rebate form with 3 UPC code in the same envelop.
c. Sending in each rebate form with UPC in separate envelop.

Thanks OP!

I cancelled my 8GB order ($49.99+$3.25+$0.00 = $53.24)& gone for 2x4GB

sku # items: qty unit price ext price
5211767 4GB MSPD PLATINUM II LEXAR 2 $19.99 $39.98

subtotal $39.98
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
tax $2.91
Ground Shipping $4.72
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
total $47.61
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I get my MIR then it cost ($47.61 - $34) = $13.61

(otherwise with one 8 GB it would be $53.24 - $37 = $16.24)

thats what i did but i elected for store pickup so no shipping cost

5211767 4GB MSPD PLATINUM II LEXAR 2 $19.99 $39.98

subtotal $39.98
tax $3.24
total $43.22

43.22-34.00 (17.00x2 if the rebates come)= 9.22 / 2 = 4.61 per stick (and i know for the fact they will work in my phat psp)

free shipping now.

But what if you bought a combination of 4GB and 8GB sticks? The rebate form says the Offer number must be written into the envelope address, but there is a different offer number for each item.

Does that mean you should write both offer #s on the envelope, or submit two different enveolopes?

Well, I stopped by my local Frys this AM and picked up 3 of the 8GB sticks because they had them on sale for $50 each (the 4GB sticks were also priced at $50 so I didn't get any of those) and I can confirm that the product number is MSDP8GB-40-664 (Rev B) with a UPC # of 6-50590-14603-1, made in Japan.

I had wanted to also get some of the 4GB sticks, so I ordered them online along with another 3 of the 8GB sticks since I thought I might need to have them all on the same receipt to submit the rebate. I'll return the 3 8GB sticks I bought in-store when I pick up the ones I ordered online and chose in-store pickup for free delivery.

Thanks for the confirmation, Darkon.

Just got off the phone with the Lexar rebate center (live person).

1) She confirmed that purchases from Fry's are valid for the rebate

2) I asked to confirm that I could submit a rebate for 3 of the 8GB sicks and 3 of the 4GB sticks. At first she said that I could only submit up to a total of 3 rebates, but only one rebate per product. Since this clearly contradicted my understanding of the words "Limite (3) three rebates per product per address" which to me means I can get 3 8GB rebates AND 3 4GB rebates with the same address. She put me on hold to check, came back and said she was mistaken and that I was correct.

3) She said I would need to submit the rebates for each product (4GB and 8GB) separately (which supports my reading of the rebate form which says the Offer # must be included in the address and each product has a different offer #). She also commented that I might want to submit each rebate separately since mutliple rebates in the same envelope sometimes get mixed up and they only record one of the rebates. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do this because I've had mixed results with past rebates (not Lexar).

got the 8gb just delivered. works great in my Sony camera.

Just picked up 3. Hope they work in the PSP.

Thanks, in for 1

I have an A100. At first I was getting random card errors after deleting pics with this Lexar card. That was with firmware 1.02. I upgraded to 1.04 and haven't had any issues since. The A100 originally supported 4gb MSPD max. I think 1.04 fixed that, but it isn't specified in the release notes for it.

Thanks for providing the link to the Sony firmware update...exactly what I needed (though I didn't know it yet).

Both items are back with the same price:
49.99 + Free Shipping for 8GB &
19.99 + 6.93 East Cost Shipping for 4GB.
Repost.

8GB UPC confirmed to match the rebate form (ordered online).

got my 8GB today too. thanks, op and other people who confirmed the upc.

it works nicely in my psp with custom firmware. holds a lot of stuff. No need to swap cards anymore.

I am debating should I get the 4 gig or the 8 gig. If I get 4 gig it is goign to be 11 dollar for me after rebate and 18 if I get the 8 gig card.

Does anyone can check there rebate online at lexar ? Please advice.

Thank You
