Not as good as that Western Digital HD warranty trade in deal since it's a refurb but it still looks like a good deal. I'd bet that they actually have more than a 180 day warranty, but that's just my opinion. I've bought refurb hard drives before from Woot that say they have a 180 day warranty when in actuality they have much longer.

Even better. If you store your files in your used underwear, you are certain that no one will access them.

Wonder what the problem was that they had to "refurb." There were signs that Seagate was having production problems a couple of months ago - some online complaints of failures, usually non-existent for Seagate, and eventually little product in the retail channel as they stood down to fix their problem. Little doubt that new drives are back up to their standard, but I'd leave these for someone else.

Failer - failer - failer

I have been with computers since 1980, and had only
one HD failed on me.

Buy this HD with a VISA, AMEX, Gold Cards and double
the warranty to one year automaticaly.

Connect it to your computer VIA and external adapter
and save wear and tare = only turn it on when you need it.

NOTE: Dang it = look what you guys done did:
I just bought one for $77.77 + $5.00 S&H.
I talked myself into it.

Pssst: Just in = you can buy this drive at Newegg for $99.99
NEW with free shipping. (Should I refuse the Woot HD and get
the Newegg one???)

From weak knees Cajun in New Orleans. LOL

I'm not buying this one, but I already have three Seagate 7200.10 non-refurb drives, is there something bad about the 7200.10s? Should I be worried?

Looks like a very fair deal. Thanks OP !

At work I deal with many disk drives and over the years Seagate gives the most problems.

Most CC company extended warranties don't apply to refurbed products, only new.

OK I have regrets = I guess I will refuse the HD and
send it back.

Will I have any problems that you know of = getting my money back?

Thank You

Three things you should never buy refurbished:

1. Pacemaker
2. Condom
3. Hard Drive

Maybe we think differently, but I'd add to that list anything that can be purchased at an adult bookstore.
