DailyVitamin said:You can go to CVS and request matching coupons to any pharmacy. Always ask to price match to any local pharmacy before transfer and get the coupon. I had a prescription to refill at CVS and handed over the RiteAid Transfer coupon for $30. The CVS pharmacy rep looked over and then had a long meeting with the pharmacy manager and the store manager and denied the coupon. CVS said they would accept the RiteAid coupon, if I transfer a prescription from RiteAid. I went ahead and just transferred the CVS prescription to RiteAid and RiteAid gladly accepted their $30 transfer coupon. The funny thing is whenver I transfer a prescription from CVS or RiteAid, I get a coupon in the mail from them for $25 or $30 asking me to come back. |

Teletubie, They just make things more inconvenient for you. That's why I emphasize requesting to talk to the pharmacist/or manager in person. Look at their name badge and addressing their name professionally. You tell them that you like the pharmacy and would like to do business with them. I would waste their time to receive a call from RITE AID and call them back for the coupons for a transfer. You will be successful most of the time if you can talk directly to the pharmacist. I know CVS policy not to deny any coupons and that's why you have the coupons in the mail asking you to do business with them. |

New script coupons are usually hard to come by with most places, as they prefer that you transfer a script to them to get the gift card. You can try the Target ad and the Kmart ad this week as they both have a $10 gift card for a new or transferred script. It is better than nothing. |

I had no trouble taking this coupon to Kroger's with a NEW prescription and getting the $30 gift card (in the form of $30 loaded onto the Kroger card). They didn't even blink. I suppose it's YMMV, well worth the attempt by those who have a new prescription and spend more often at their grocery than at their drug store. |
