Good deal on the coupon. Personally I DO NOT like QuickPeek though FWIW.
Sorry for any confusion-used to posting these deals on the grocery forum so I didn't define some terms.
To clarify ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 8/22 & 8/23 I am GOING to buy more peanut butter and Bertolli's with the $5 off $20 coupon!
$10.00 for 6 jars skippy peanut butter $11.98 for 2 Bertolli chicken dinners ______ $21.98 -5.00 $5 off 20 coupon ______ $16.98 After purchase, the Catalina will print out the following Walgreens Register Rewards (RR)* $4RR from skippy buy 6 offer $5RR from Bertolli buy 2 offer
Net is: $7.98 for 6 peanut butters and 2 Bertolli chicken dinners (1 is normally 5.99 or more if not on sale). If you can't use all that peanut butter, remember this is a requested staple for donating to Second Harvest Food Bank.
*A RR is a coupon that prints from a Catalina (small printer by cash register) and is good for cash off next purchase at Walgreens (valid on everything except perscriptions and very few other restrictions). If they don't print show the clerk the top of page 19 of the current Walgreens ad which has the details of what to purchase and how much the RR should be when both of them print out.
How is Walgreens customer service when it comes to returning and rebuying ? I'm thinking of returning the steam cleaner and sewing machine and rebuying with the $5 coupon but the Walgreens I go to is right next to my office and is frequented by many of my colleagues and I don't want to create a scene there if they are uptight about returns.

Usually depends on the manager. If you want some more privacy, go to photo center and ask some general question like how long does it to to get mail-in photo order back? Then tell them you want to return your previous purchase. Managers usually hang around photo center so the return may be very quick.

Can I use the RRs to rebuy the skippys and get more RRs?
it seems they always come out with a coupon right after I was there! I was just there 2 days ago and I spent over $20....gotta find something else 2 buy

I don't think doing a return/rebuy is a big deal, most should allow it. The problem is if you used any coupons, the register will deduct them from the return and you won't get them on your repurchase unless you have another coupon.

Thank you billrubin and TheTigger. I didn't use coupons on my purchase. I bought the steam cleaner and sewing machine and they both have $10 rebate. I already submitted my receipt yesterday but I'm hoping that while the system will reject the receipt since I'm returning it, it will take into account the new receipt that I enter from the new purchase. Will update my post after the return and also after the rebate gets approved(if it gets approved).
Update : The Mgr blinked for a moment at the mention of a coupon during rebuy but went ahead and processed it fine. Hopefully the rebate gets processed smoothly too.
I bought 2 books of stamps ($16.80) + $3.20 in fillers (mostly $.39 items from their weekly ad). The coupon scanned perfectly, so I ended up spending $15.00 for $16.80 worth of stamps plus all of the fillers too. Great deal.
I bought the Scotts 12 roll pack toilet paper and some GM cerals and 39 cents fillers.
Found 50 cents coupons on the shelve for the TP, so they come out to $5 for two 12 Roll packs. [$14 for 2 pks - $3 RR - 2x 0.5 coupon - $5 off 20 coupon]
