S10 is $365, which is $115 (32%) more expensive than A1. And that is just for 1.1" screen. Check size here. BTW, EEE 901 is a lot smaller than A1 even both have the 8.9" screen. And S10 and A1 is about the same size. vladgur said: this laptop has a a smaller screen and a smaller keyboard. Id say S10 is worth the difference. Ive compared Asus EEE 901(8.9" screen) and Asus 1000h(10" screen) and for my 10" and a keyboard that formfactor would support were the bare usable minimum |

FYI, just read on a review that some users are complaining already about slow performance of the SSD drive. |

None of the highspeed internet options are available where I live. Any other way to make this deal work? |

I had the chance to touch, carry and use this unit about 4 weeks ago (? I think). It's a very nice unit. The difference in screen size between it and the S10 is truly marginal. Acer actually surprises me with their better than I expected build quality, too. |

I see. I own Asus 1000h for which I paid $300 more, but it has a 1.1" bigger screen, bluetooth(important for me to tether via my SERO phone) and 5.5 hour battery life. If i had a guarantee that I could add 6-cell battery to this acer in the future, Id probably go with Acer |

Ok, this seems like a great deal but I am lost with this internet sign up thing. I click on the link and get nothing about $100 off with internet sign-up. The only offers I see are for BB gift cards by mail with sing-up. What am I missing? |

Just got back from running an errand close to BB in Dublin, CA, so I stepped in to take a look. There were 5 AA1's in BLUE (all with XP), and they had a demo in the cage (it wasn't ready yet). A CSR kindly allowed me to play on it for a while. XP runs amazingly well on the Atom with 1GB RAM. The trackpad was better than I expected. Aside from the 5 BLUE AA1's, the CSR said they were getting the same exact models in WHITE very soon. loricariidae said:I specifically went looking for the AA1 in the Dublin, CA B&M last week - wasn't available then. May need to go check again. |

Green for OP and the folks who explained the $100 discount. This is going to sell out quickly! In for 1 if I can get it. |

Awesome, I've been waiting for the white version to show up. The blue I saw in Circuit City looked good but I wanted to compare it to the white first. Is it just me or is the ad scan link broken? |

Greygooser said:...Though this version comes with 1 GB, it still maxes at 1.5 GB (replace the 512 stick with a 1 GB stick)... IMHO - For XP and Linux, 1GB is plenty, especially for a netbook. |
