Really makes sense only to use if you are not buying a "buy it now" item; with buy it now you get much bigger discount (15-35%) with LIVE.COM. This 10% offer can not be combined with any other offer.

Really wish I'd actually be able to use one of these eBay/Paypal coupons, even just once... I've got three accounts, one heavy use, one regular (1x/mo) use and one very very little, almost no use. NONE of them has EVER gotten in on the coupons... bah!
I know the usual advice is to have a little-used account, but I have two of them that pretty much meet that definition, and one that DEFINITELY does. So it's frustrating... </vent>

I combined a 10% coupon with the live.com CashBack when it first came out at 35% and have cashed out the CashBack from that purchase.

i read on another forum that the 10% off coupon works with live.com CashBack. is this not the case?
Is there a secret to getting PayPal/eBay promo emails? I have been a PayPal member for a while, and even went for a while without using my account but nothing came.

You can still dip an additional 10% off from MSN CashBack, search for "nintendo wii" on live.com to find that little button in the sponsored ad areas.

Actually, I'm thinking it's more or less the opposite. I usually get these coupons, and they say something along the lines of "Thank you for shopping on eBay" (or in one case I think one was targeted towards frequent sellers.) Over the past year or so usually I spend a few hundred a month on eBay then end up selling about the same amount. (a lot of it was shopping for camera lenses since I bought a DSLR about a year ago...I had a hard time deciding which ones I like )

One hangup with the coupon for me was that my paypal and eBay email addresses were not the same, when I made them the same (changed the PP to match) the coupon worked.
same emails...takes in eBay total..as soon as you log into paypal...its Invalid

I've given up on trying use Paypal codes. They are account specific and unless you have been specifically emailed them by Paypal or eBay they are unlikely to work. I tried contacting Paypal to ask why I hadn't received these promotions when others clearly had but just got a garbled response from them.
