I got the same error. Maybe because my business is a sole proprietorship? I called the number and finally got to talk to someone after on hold for 10 minutes. MaxPerks site is down and IT Dept will have it up tomorrow. I also tried to have them sign me up over the phone. The system also had a problem trying to do that. So I guess we'll just have to wait another day. |

How does this 25% PP works? Which step of check out process? I see PayPal option on (2) Payment STEP. It doesn't mention about 25%. and on (4) Review STEP it doesn't take 25% off. Thanks for update. |

Looks like they will send you the $30 gas card with your next maxperks statement according to the flyer. |

Looked at the online version of offer 07-93978 at RebatesHQ.com and there is no store exclusions listed. So it might be OK. OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS: $20 rebate offer good only on the qualifying Brother HL-2140 (UPC 012502619444). Purchase must be made between December 30, 2007 and September 27, 2008 at Participating Retailers. Purchases made before or after these dates will not be eligible. Rebate form and supporting documents (collectively "Claim") must be postmarked no later than October 27, 2008. Please allow six to eight weeks to process. Any misrepresentations or fraudulent information disqualifies the claim. Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other Brother offer. Internal Brother orders are ineligible. Limit ONE rebate claim per person, household, family or address. Only purchases by an end-user residing in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico are valid. Offer void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by Federal, State, Provincial or local law. Any submission with invalid or undeliverable address will be rejected. Brother is not responsible for claims lost, stolen, damaged, illegible, misdirected or delayed in the mail. Please keep copies of all materials submitted. No claims against "lost" materials will be evaluated unless accompanied by proof of mailing of the original claim. This rebate program is being administrated by Brother. Brother reserves the right to request additional information regarding this claim and the right to confirm identification. All documents submitted with this claim become the property of Brother and cannot be returned. The claimant waives any and all claims against Brother relating to this offer. Rebate checks are void after 60 days. Submit a copy of the SALES RECEIPT showing the product purchased and purchase date (dated between December 30, 2007 and September 27, 2008) at Participating Retailers. Submit the proof-of purchase by cutting out the original UPC bar code from the product packaging. If you have not received your rebate after 8 weeks, you may call Customer Service at 866-441-3015 or visit www.rebateshq.com to check status of your rebate. rarmortn said:ridn4free said:already got burned on one rebate attempt with OfficeMax that was a manufacturer. Not saying it wont fly, it wasnt brother, but you might want to add YMMV.
this is an older version of the brother rebate. the later version had officemax, Staples, bestbuy excluded. not sure if they'll honor this version

Thanks for update. Choose Paypal as the method of payment. I think the discount is on the back end from Paypal. |

Here is what I get while trying to use PP https://www.officemax.com/omax/checkout/payment.jsp?PaypalError=yes&reSubmit=NO "Unfortunately we were unable to authorize your order through PayPal. Thanks OP!! Successfully used MaxPerks, ebates, and Paypal. FYI: At the Paypal checkout review page I saw: Promotional Offer: This transaction is eligible for Cash Back. See terms at https://www.paypal.com/B2S/terms/officemax I didn't see anything about the gas card in my cart, but I think this will be an easy perk to fight for if it doesn't come. |
