I don't know, I didn't have cash to cover in my paypal account, used a credit card through paypal

That paypal error is annoying as heck. Anyone figured out how to get past it? I tried using same email as paypal for checkout.....no joy.


I created a brand new paypal account tied to a new credit card and the order finally processed.

Went in for one - picked up the last one on the shelf @ Willow Grove PA. and signed up for the MaxPerks. Didn't get any type of form for the gas card... The clerk said "I think they email you a link" to download a coupon. Doesn't sound right to me, so I'm not cutting out the UPC just yet for the Brother rebate just yet. Anyone else get different info on how to get the gas card?

Woman on phone said the gas card is sent in mail. Another posted said it would be included in your next maxperks statement.

Yep same here. Live Cash is 6 to 10% Cash Back.

And the maxperks is up.

Same here, went with Live CB and PayPal. Everything went smoothly and saw the statement I qualify for the PP % right before submitting the payment. My email address were different and received the Live CB email 20 mins after order showing $3.60 so only 6%.

Thanks OP and others that pointed out the CBs of Live and PP.

Went through everything with Paypal and Maxperks. Got my whole order to work. Forgot to get a couple extra bucks with Live CB. Sweet deal. Awesome deal for the gift card too. Let's hope the rebate stacks with this as well. Thanks.

i'm in for one. Don't need a printer but I do need a new drum/toner.

After $30 perks and $20 rebate it's $14.64. 25% Paypal CashBack makes it free and then some.

Will the receipt officemax order confirmation email have any information on paypal 25% CashBack. Iam not seeing anything on the confirmation mail i got from officemax.

Once the order is place do you guys see anything in your paypal accounts regarding 25%

This rebate does work with OfficeMax. I used it back in March and received my check. OfficeMax stopped doing rebates quite awhile back, so it's no surprise that they don't mention this one on their web site or in store.

However, the rebate form link in the OP uses the same offer code # (with new purchase and postmark dates) as the form from the previous deal... Brother HL-2140 Laser Printer $29.99AR at OM B&M. So if you already got that earlier deal, you can't do this one.

So I think that may work.
