They are offering a $30 gas card to MaxPerks members (see page 6). Note that gas card is only valid at one specific retailer in your area (I've seen ads with ARCO and BP, there may be other retailers). ** Limit 1 gas card per member.
Question arises --- will ARCO gas card work at BP stations? BP owns ARCO. There are no ARCO stations in my locale -- SE Michigan -- but we do have plenty of BP stations.

Anyone know how much toner goes for? Can it be refilled? Tempted to jump on this.
This is actually a nice printer for its price. There are 2 toners available for this printer: BrotherTN-330 which prints up to 1,500 pages and about $45 at Staplez; and BrotherTN-360 which can print up to 2,600 pages and about $65 at Staplez. Not sure if it can be refilled.
I think instead of me getting a new toner, I might just buy another HL-2140 at this price.

Thanks OP! I have order HL-2140 and order gone through. It can not be resist for $10.
1. Get 6% back going through ebates.com 2. 25% back from Paypal works (notice is not on first page, but the page that said "Review your information") 3. There is an item added to your card automatically for FREE "Free Bonus - Special offer on your next online order" It is linked under the Label Maker & Photo ID System ($0 to $13.99) I have no clue what this mean; but it's free

already got burned on one rebate attempt with OfficeMax that was a manufacturer. Not saying it wont fly, it wasnt brother, but you might want to add YMMV.

this is an older version of the brother rebate. the later version had officemax, Staples, bestbuy excluded. not sure if they'll honor this version
No, they won't rarmortn said: ridn4free said: already got burned on one rebate attempt with OfficeMax that was a manufacturer. Not saying it wont fly, it wasnt brother, but you might want to add YMMV.

care to explain? I mean did you submit it and get rejected before? or just a guessIt is just that the general idea is that manufacturer rebates are not supposed to work at OM, since OM prices usually include instant rebates.
I can't seem to apply online for a MaxPerks membership. Getting this error: "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later. You can reach us by e-mail at maxperks@officemax.com or by phone at 1-866-MAXPERKS (1-866-629-7375)."

I got the same error. Maybe because my business is a sole proprietorship?

OM is idiot. Just go to www.bbb.org and and put OM in search and it should come up OM's headquarter address in Illinois.

I just got an email from OMAX and they claim that I never used maxperks ID and hence I am not qualified. Sucks big time.
