Green for you OP on the IDE drive; picked up a few SATA 320GB drives too!

No one else had this problem? My bank said the charges went through successfully (not just the auth but the charges) and Seagate's customer service line is "experiencing technical difficulties".

Good deal OP! $49.99 for the 360gb SATA is warm at best - you can find 500gb SATA's around that price (maybe not STX though).

I think this is dead.

Why do you think it's dead? I still see the link, and can add to cart. It's now the first entry. The 160GB drives are all there too.

It wasn't working before - now it's back and running.

Looks dead to me too. Seeing prices $65-$99. Was there some promotional code I'm missing?

Yup, now it's dead - officially.

Yes, all the Seagate.com deals are now dead. They all seemed to die at about the same time. Maybe someone cleaned them out. Oh well. I hope everyone who needed one got one.

Well, a 160GB HD is available for $99.99, but I think that's pushing it.

Yeah, that can hardly be called a deal, since it was only $67 not too long ago.

Ordered one on the morning of 8/24, and order still shows "Open" and unprocessed at Seagate. I am impatientbear.

Seagate.com was swamped with orders for various deals over the weekend. I don't think they are staffed to process all those orders in a day or two. A good sign was that this drive didn't show OOS right away on Monday when someone was supposedly at work. No guarantee, of course, since we don't know if or how much their system was screwed up. So it's not bad news until you received some cancellation notice. Very likely they just haven't gotten to your order(s) yet.

Someone over at SD who had ordered this drive on 8/24 at around 10:30am (not sure which time zone) reported getting shipping notice. So be patient and don't be too worked up if the deal doesn't work out. Good luck.

^ Thanks - I didn't presume it was OOS, but just figured that it might be delivered by the time I got back from my business trip on Thursday. I did end up receiving a shipping notification from Seagate just a few hours ago at 2:38 PM PST.

It is 2008. Has nobody heard of real time inventory?

"Thank you for your recent order at seagate.com (order number 00000000000). Unfortunately, due to high demand for this product, it is not currently available in stock. Therefore, we have had to cancel your order. Your credit card was not charged."

I had placed my order right after it was posted here.
