Abe's of Maine has the Canon Powershot SD1100 IS Digital Camera (Silver) for $178.95 - $10 coupon code LOYALTY10 = $168.95 + free shipping. Tax only for New Jersey residents.
Conclusion - Pros Very compact body Decent edge-to-edge sharpness Clean results at low ISO settings with bright, print-friendly color 'straight out of the box' Accurate and reasonably quick focus (although slightly slower in low light) Good responsiveness and overall speed Excellent user interface and menus - very intuitive Efficient image stabilization Very good build quality and attractive design AF point zoom useful for macro work and portraits Good flash recycling times Bright and clear screen Viewfinder (although only an emergency solution) Good movie quality Time lapse movie mode ISO button
Conclusion - Cons Battery life when using LCD not brilliant Slightly underpowered built-in flash Little manual control Poor Auto White Balance performance under artificial light Pretty noisy at any sensitivity above ISO 200 (decent detail retention though) Some highlight clipping Some noise reduction detail blurring even at base ISO Viewfinder so tiny as to be virtually pointless Lens a little soft at the long end Wide end of the lens is not exactly wide Shutter speeds slower than 1 sec can only be achieved in scene mode Our test sample showed some corner softness (one corner only) at some focal lengths (only visible when shooting test charts)

Free groung shipping on item list, while $2.99 at check out. ???
I bought this a while ago with the $50 credit for signing up for a b.com card (or somewhere) which made it $200 ... yes it was new at the time. I don't regret it at all.
At $170 this is a terrific deal.
Great camera, SMALL, takes good pictures and has image stabilization. Regarding the cons someone posted in a review - they're awfully picky when they test image quality. This camera is essentially compared to the standards set by $3000 DSLRs. Lacks many manual controls - yes. It's a a point-and-shoot. Take it out to a picnic or bar or amusement park where carying a larger camera is impractical. Don't do a modeling shoot with it (actually, I did exactly that and it worked out well) if you're picky.
This doesnt seem like a bad price for the 1100 since we bought the 1000, which was well rated and actually holds up well to this unit according to PCMag, for 130
