Here is what I did find:

I also found on a international shipping report website that they have imported containers from China with "non-stick cookware" listed on the manifest. From some quick reading they have been in business since 1922, but only their small utensils are still made in the USA and the cookware seems to be imported from China. Also, it seems that most items only carry a two year warranty.

The China thing doesn't bother me much (prefer to go USA when I have a viable choice), but it does to some. Here is a quote from an article talking about the deal with Quackenbush : "Heuck has a line of about 150 kitchen products, ranging from can openers to potato peelers, some of which the company manufactures, some that it contracts with others to manufacture in the U.S., and others that come from foreign suppliers."

So I don't think I am saying anything new to anyone when these are called "starter ware".

Nice deal though. I may go in for one while I am in my apartment phase....I have roommates that I don't trust with good cookware.
