Yes it does not include 512mb of Ram, but you really need 1GB+ anymore and the board in this post takes DDR, which is more expensive than the DDR2 in the board I mentioned (and can get 2GB of RAM for $20 regularly). Plus this board uses AM2+ AMD processors which is the current standard so you can always upgrade later.
So for basically 95 bucks, you can get the above mentioned processor and a current board with all the bells and whistles and the ability to upgrade down the line and 1.5GB more of RAM. Seems like a bit of a no brainer...
However, I will say that the 761GX boards are not bad boards. I have a 760GX (same board but with AGP) and it has worked flawlessly for the last 3+ years.

Very true. I was just trying to stay as close as I could to the original 60. I actually have an AMD 780Gm chipset and it rules. I paired it with a AMD 4850e and a WD 500GB green drive for a very low power solution!
