I've got some pics of my install in my '08 Ranger on my blog here: Blog
HD Radio is great also. Weird thing is, it actually picks up better where I live (about 30 miles north of Dallas) than when I'm in Dallas itself.
Yeah I got it from Crutchfield too. I already got my rebate check! All in all, this is a REAllY great deal for this amount! I would recommend it to anyone. Green for OP!

Also got it from Crutchfield and they included the wiring harness, antenna adaptor and dash kit for free with free shipping - may be a better deal Definitely a good radio for the $

Crutchfield sells it with everything required to install this. I don't think 6Ave.com is offering that.

Fleabay - antenna adapter - if needed (I did) around $5.00 - wiring harness - also about $5 Nothing else you're going to need. at a $35+ difference from Crutchfield ---- Well this *is* FatWallet
Its worth it to me to buy car audio from Crutchfield because I always end up using their support. But in any case this is a great radio as long as you don't need video. Remember you need to buy the Bluetooth module if you want BT.
The only thing I hate is that it will not keep the setting for display when you play a USB key. I want it to show the title and every time I start the car that is like 5 button presses. Minor complaint.

The support was great. However, it ended up being such an easy install that I'm not afraid to go it alone now.
Can I install this into my really old car? My dad has a Volvo 240 .. god know what year it is.. probably 20 years old car.. would I be able to install it in there? Is the car stereo system pretty universal? Thanks

thanks... whats with the texting for the rebate? does it affect the rebate if you don't?

The bluetooth module plugs into the back of the radio. The cord is pretty long, enough to run it up and around the windshield to the visor. I haven't done that yet, I just have it dangling from the visor. Works very nicely.
I'm seeing radios in Best Buy for around $100 that have bluetooth built in, so I might do that when I decide to swap out the radio in our other car.
I'm deciding between this and the JVC $30 AR deal from Crutchfield. I do want a USB port to use a USB-powered hard drive with or even a flash drive, but wondering how well it works on this... or should I just get the JVC and hook up an mp3 with aux. The only thing about mp3 players is you won't be able to CONTROL them from the radio. With a usb drive, you can control it since it's just data.
Anyone who sent their rebate in and haven't seen progress on it may want to check the status website again...looks like they finally updated and added mine in (might be others that now show up)
