Amazon has the XFX 8800GT Extreme (overclocked from 625 to 640 MHz) for $100 after a $30 rebate. Check out with Bill Me Later and use coupon BMLDEALS for $20 off $100 for a final price of $80. With the coupon, free shipping and free tax, this is the best price I've seen on an 8800GT. Doesn't hurt that it's factory overclocked and made by a decent video card manufacturer. Rebate and coupon both expire after 8/31.

linky
rebate

Edit:
Bill Me Later is Amazon's line of credit, similar to DPA for Dell. If you don't already have an account, applying for one should have a short term slight negative impact on your FICO score.

Dead - price increased by $20 to $120 AR, $100 AR AC.

This is very tempting! I'm about a month or two from building a media/gaming PC and this would work perfectly for the kinds of games I play (non-shooters). I've just been biding my time watching the prices drop, and wonder if they're going to drop any more. I know tech usually reaches a low point and then sits there (then becomes hard to find). Wondering if this is the low point.

Other cards I'm watching are the 4850 based cards. Just don't know if the 4850 based cards will be low enough when I'm ready to build to justify passing this deal up.

Oh well, decisions decisions.

BEWARE. BillMeLater is a line of credit. A low one. It may put downward pressure on your credit score accordingly.

Hard inquiries do add downward pressure to your FICO. The effect is typically in the neighborhood of 5-9 points, which most likely won't change anything if/when you apply for a loan. Inquiries typically fall off in 6 months, at which time the drop will go away.

Furthermore, the general consensus amongst the folks over in the Finance forums is that increasing your total credit limit applies upward pressure to your FICO. As such, after the inquiry drops off, there should be a very slight positive effect.

That being said, adding another line of credit is a hassle that many people don't want to deal with, which makes this deal worse than if it was a $20 off $100 no strings attached coupon.
