Reviews seem to show it's one of the worst routers made - from Amazon and Newegg.

Yes, I bought it from Fry's last year, refurbished. It lasted 9 months and then bricked. It's a good price, but this model is not reliable. I'm still using one of their older models, the WGR614v4, and it's still going strong, so perhaps this model is their "Deathstar"

Fry's was selling the v2 version now for $35 with free shipping. I bought one a month ago, it's been a champ. Was yours a v1 or v2? Big differences internally.

I bought one from crapusa and the second one from french fry's.
Here's my dime a dozen opinion: Factory firmaware is POS totally unstable. Then tried DD-WRT, almost bricked the first one. Installed dd-wrt mini build on first and later on the second router and since then life has been pleasant, no more rebooting, etc. I am using one as a wireless bridge. Working efficently without a single reboot/reset for last 3 months and yep they both are version 2

So unless you want to play with dd-wrt don't get it and if you feel comfy with providing your router with extra-marital affair...aka dd-wrt then go ahead and buy it.
