As the title says, $69.99 for an excellent case, ships free. I already have one and can say it's an excellent case, heavy sturdy design, quiet, and comes with two adjustable speed fans.

Deal starts today, 9/5/2008, at 11 AM EST/8 AM PST. You may need to be a newsletter subscriber, but I'm not 100% on that.

Changed to reflect P180. Not sure if my wires got crossed or they just changed it. Sorry for the mistake, in any event.

Good case, I love the one I have. Too bad I just picked up the P180 when it was on sale a couple weeks, because I like the black finish of the P182 better.

hmmm.... clicking on that link shows the silver P180.

Updated. Sorry bout that.

The 180's good, but lacks some of the cable management features of the 182. Although I have heard that the 180's are identical to the 182's sometimes, depending on what they put in the box.

I agree... I have the P180B. I think the P180 v1.1 is almost identical to the P182 minus the cable management features. But I was able to route my four PCIe power cable, my 8pin power cable and my SATA cable power behind the motherboard tray - so I'm not really missing out on that feature

But if anyone lives near a Microcenter (or doesn't mind paying shipping), Microcenter has the P182 for $79 AR:

I have this same cabinet, the only thing that is missing is the case internal speaker. You will probably have to buy one seperately.

Yeah, to be honest I don't use much of the 182's cable management, other than the hooks across the top for the stock fan wires. Everything else fits between the motherboard tray and side panel. There's plenty of room there to route cables. The only other feature I use, which I think the 180 has also b/c of the PSU mounting, is the hole in the divider to run my HD power/cables. I managed to cram the ATX connector itself behind the mobo tray, though, with the plug snaking out over the top. The right side of that case has that much room between the motherboard tray and side panel.

Yeah... the ATX power connector was the only thing I couldn't route back there - as it was too thick (damn shrink wrapped modular cables!! - j/k, I love my PSU). No amount of force was going to get the side panel on with the ATX connector routed behind the motherboard tray. But it's not too bad... I only have that one cable coming up from the PSU compartment into the main compartment.

You say P182 - the site says P180. You might want to make correction in title.

Deal must be over.

Edit: Or I may be a moron and not properly read the OP's post

no... the world is right now:

OP originally posted that the deal is for the P182... but changed it to reflect a deal for the P180.

After tax, then the 182 comes out to $88.00 or so for me. Is the 182 worth the extra $18.00?

I'm never going to watercool. That being said, I saw on some tech forums that the 180s now have the same features as the 182 except for the panel colors. The person that had the upgraded 180 bought his from Newegg.

I love the case too, though it's pretty heavy. I would add that if your power supply has short cables, you might not be able to use this case due to the way the cables are routed. It probably won't affect you if you have normal length cables.

Can someone tell me how to adjust the speed of the fans in the case? Thanks

Spend $5.00 and get an extender cable from monoprice.com.

The case comes with three 120mm fans. All three fans have speed regulators on them. You can set them to L, M, H speeds. Very easy

Only bad thing is if you want to adjust the speed of the fan, you will have to either:

1) open up your case to make the adjustment
2) mod your case so that you can route the cables and mount them to the outside of your case

In for 30.

alert mods

Sounds easy enough, thanks!!

... where exactly do I find these speed regulators though are they actually on the fan? or is it on the cable that connects to the mobo?

thanks again!
