26.99 for a can of Similac! Even after the discount it costs 24.29/can. I get them cheaper at WalMart and Walgreens, they go on sale all the time for 23.99/can there. I think the last time my significant other only paid 22/can at Babies R Us because of some coupon.
I think the best time to stock up is when walgreens has their 5 off 20 coupons for 2 days only. You can get a can 18.99 to 20 dollars depending on what promotion their running. Last time they had their cans on sale for 23.99 and the 5.00 off coupon and I bought 4 cans at 18.99 each.
5 cans would last my 8 month old about a month anyway.
Your even better deal is to buy the costco or sams club brand. Last time I checked both were enfamil or enfamil clones. Same nutritional values and ingredients top to bottom.
Last time I bought it (a couple of years ago) they were about half the best price I could get on similac or enfamil.
Just buying formula and diapers there for one baby is worth about 5x the annual membership fees...
