$1499 17" Macbook pro (rev3) for Students/Staff/Faculty at the ubookstore. They also have the 24" intel imacs for $1349. I bought the macbook and got myself a free ipod touch deal(already published).

If you have a friend or family member who is a UW student they will have to go with you for you to score the deal.

Good deal.
Note though that the next generation of MacBooks are coming in October so there may be decent deals then.

Yes only B&M sorry! I just posted this deal in the slight chance anyone in Seattle would find it. Apple has had 5 revisions of the macbook pro in just 2.5 years. I decided to buy in now. In another 6 months rev 6 will be out and this computer will still be worth $1200. The question always in this day and age is whats a good deal. This is one if you can make it happen.
