This is a combo-deal that involves two CA rebates. CA Internet Security 3-User at Staples.com (711537) right now is $39.99 - $40 Printer/AIO/Copier/Fax/Shredder-Attach rebate - $30 Staples rebate. The valid dates for the $30 rebate (07-75283) are 9/1/07 - 9/30/08, so you might have already done it. The combo rebate is only valid at Staples.com

Examples:
HP 5610 Flatbed AIO $69.99
CA IS 3U $39.99
====
-25 coupon (1.99)
-20 HP SER 08-35667
-30 CA 07-75283
-40 CA 08-38201
+6% tax
=
FINAL COST: 2.06 AR

Also, the qualifying items need not be purchased on the same receipt in order to obtain the combo-rebate, just within the valid dates (9/5-9/30). The Instant-Savings on CA IS does end on Saturday. If you already bought a printer or shredder from 9/5 (from Staples.com), or you are going to, you can do this in two different orders! Here's an example...get a free Brother 3360C + Brother PT1280 + make $$, by buying the printer in one order and the CA+Brother PT1280 in the other, both with a $25 off $75. Final cost: -12.85 AR (Or 17.15 If you already did the $30 rebate) using the scenario outlined below:

FINAL COST: -12.85 AR (Or 17.15 If you already did the $30 rebate)

Deal cannot be had without an upgrade rebate, right? Thanks.

There is no upgrade rebate. They only need a copy of the UPC.

From the T's and C's: Rebate value will not exceed purchase price. Does that mean the software price? Will they connect the dots on the two different rebates? If yes, this is COLD.

Thanks, OP. Have Staples coupons piling up that expire in a few weeks and couldn't resist making money after rebate.

Not true?

Note also: the HP 5610 Printer will be 59.99 next week, so if you order it online you should be able to get an addtitional. PM of $10 + tax next week.

Doesn't Staples do a return and rebuy instead of PM?

Ok I was in a hurry. It was well over $100. I purchased the $25 off $100 as OP mentioned. Worked Great. Pre-submitted all the rebates.

This is worth taking the risk. I've made $70 off CA last year around this same time frame. It had the same clause of rebates cannot increase purchase price. But I got everything.

Word of caution - The rebate will most probably be denied initially saying email confirmation missing, but this will be fixed with one phone call.

Thanks OP, ordered the HP 5610 with the $20 coupon Staples sent.
It would have been $3 cheaper if I had bought the $25 coupon (after deducting the price of coupon)
Will cost me around $7 AR.
I hope that the $30 CA rebate goes thru.

I haven't checked out yet (or bought the coupon ) but with the Brother it gives me a total of $137.77 (thats with the $30 instant off from the CA purchase)

Will the $30 off $150 coupon still work if I add it to this order?
