I love magazines and love to give magazines as gifts as it keeps on giving for a year (or more). I especially like where there is no automatic renewal and hidden fees. If you can get them for a promotional price of less than a dollar all the better!!!

Okay, here's the deal. You can get 4 magazine for just 99 cents each from ValueMags. Some are 1/2 year subscriptions, some are full year subscriptions. There are so many to choose from (The list below only has 1 per letter just to give a small taste.)

Important points:
There is no automatic renewal, so if after a year you don't want to renew you can let it lapse without fighting a renewal charge on your card.
Free Shipping, yes - there are some sites that show very low prices and then add shipping prices. There is no tax or other hidden fees. There is a money-back guarentee, but for 99 cents a year you can just let if keep coming or have the address changed to somewhere else.

Oh, and there is 25% CashBack available so it is more like 75 CENTS A MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION!

Discretion you are right.
Make sure you look to the right column after choosing. Most, you will only recieve 2 issues then be charged for a full year.
You will not get 1 yr. for 99c.

Every single one of the 4 mags I picked were only 2 issue subs.

So not nearly as good a deal as apparently posted.

By the way, this reminds me that this was similarly posted a while back. Guess I'll have to remember to not click on these ValueMags threads.

Weight Watchers
You will receive 2 issues for 99¢.

Newsweek
You will receive 8 issues for 99¢.

Climbing Magazine
You will receive 1 issues for 99¢.

Fitness
You will receive 2 issues for 99¢.

BE VERY CAREFUL... this is NOT for a full year.

This comes across as some shady marketing. I'm blacklisting ValueMags for this crap. They're banking on people making a mistake for SOME of their orders.

Your card will be charged by 'eMagazines'. If you like your magazine choice(s) and do not cancel, your subscription will continue after the 99¢ term (the 99¢ term includes the number of issues stated next to the magazine image above) for the normal price and the number of issues mentioned above. After the first year, your subscription will not automatically renew. Your first issue will arrive in 4 to 6 weeks.

Same here, mags I picked says only 2 issues for the 99¢ deal. I'll wait for other 1 year subscripion one.

There wasn't one in the whole list where you received more than 4 issues, most 2! . No deal. .
