I've had this set, well, the four piece set for a few years. They're great tools; perhaps one of the better things from China for Sears.

Just don't overload them. I messed up the snipper that way.

if your ordering other tools dont forget $10 off $50 coupon online.

Great deal, thanks. In for 1.

as an alternative, I like these at Harbor Freight, which frequently are on sale:

5 piece set for $5.99 or 6 piece set for $5.99 or 6 piece set for $7.99

not much savings on harbor freight if your paying shipping as there are not many locations in my neck of the woods.

I was looking at this just 2 days ago and it was $19.99.

Gas here is $4.25 or so for regular unleaded - at stations that have gas to sell - and most of my cars need more expensive premium gas. So I will not be driving by S3ars to save a few dollars on the pliers set. Heck, the overpriced shipping is not that bad compared to buying gas to run and pick just this up.

Harbor Freight tools are much cheaper, but not usually Craftsman quality. I would say with imported tools at S3ars the gap is not that much now, but the forever Craftsman warranty may be worth paying extra for. I have lots of tools from both places and can't say I have had too many issues with either.

OMG - Cry me a river!!!
Gas is like car insurance - if you can't afford either don't buy the car.

The Harbor Freight mini tools are pieces of junk. I told a co-worker to take his back and go get some, for less, at the Liquidation store and those were much better and still not up to Craftsman's quality.

My brother overloaded my cutters and broke the nose. Took it back to Sears and they gave me a replacement, no questions asked. Harbor Freight won't do that!

4. What kind of warranty do your products have?

* Lifetime warranty on all hand tools
* All other items are 30 day money back and 90 day replacement unless otherwise specified

I also have the 4 item version of this. The mini pliers always come in handy around the house or working on computer type stuff. Also handy for taking out stuck in-ear plugs

Probably not. I own the first listed 6 piece set and it's top-notch. Pros do not use Sears and Harbor Freight tools. By and large I agree that some other HF tools are junk, but most of the customers aren't pros.
