Sorry I don't even know where Palmer township is. You need to ask your neighbors. coolbreeze said:hofozone said:In for one for pick up later, green for OP. Looks like it can handle the snow here in PA. Where are you in PA? I'm new here (from SC) and live in Easton (Palmer Twp). Do I need this? |

IMO...its 230 bucks. I think its a great price, also has a Briggs and Stratton motor which are very solid and dependable. TO the wife and myself this was a no brainer. Will it tackle the blizzard that dumped 20 inches of snow as fast as a $1000 machine...NO I really like the fact that you dont have to mix teh gas and oil, also it is light enough to handle. I am VERY confident in the motor and its ability to start right away, and that it will last I also checked other brands with approx the same size motor, they go for about 600 ish and up
Again just my 2 cents worth. |

Thanks a lot! But I still hesitate because this one looks almost same as the "Craftsman 4 HP Gas Snow Thrower" which is same price but the reviews are not good. billybabe3883 said:pr720 said:Anyone can help? Need to make the decision. thanks!

I read all the reviews on the other one. Obviously the choice is yours...Good Luck whatever you decide... Look around and see what else is out there, and compare. Thats what I did, and for the money this won hands down. Like you I wish this had more reviews, but the one it had was positive. I think if you look at it, that it will do the job, just not as fast as the big hogs. I think if you treat it right and dont beat the chit out of it, it will last along time. Hell if you get 4 years out of it, thats about 60 bucks a year. Keep in mind this model is for asphalt/concrete. |

Do I need this? Google Easton, PA. Anyhow, thanks for the help. I just bought one. I have a sidewalk in front of my home and don't want to shovel snow at 5am. Hope I made the right decision. Never been in snow in my life, not sure what to expect. |
