If YOU think its a good deal...show some love

Wow, nice find!

It's definitely not a "big" thrower from what I can see but perfect for the mild to moderate storm which, really, is most of them anyhow. It's also lighter than my big 10HP one so easier to maneuver.

Get it now, you're not likely to see a snow blower for this price for a long time unless it's one of those crummy electric ones (which are more trouble than they save). Heck, $230 for a 6.5 B&S 4-stroke engine is a nice deal if you need to replace on broken equipment.

This offer doesn't seem to be available for pickup in florida. Still green for OP

Thanks, ordered one.

Thanks OP, just in time for winter.

Does it snow in Florida ? Why would they sell them in FL ?

"21" Wide X 10.25" High Intake Handles Light Snow 6-8" Deep"

Not even enough snow to even bother with.

This is what we use. $625 at HD end of season clearance after a 10% off coupon...

Thanks for Crapping...move on please

If anyone was wondering, 6.5 ft lbs is equivalent to about 190cc, which is good.

Thanks OP. I got 1, green for you. Hope this will work in CT. We do have wet snow so it's kind of heavy snow.

In for one, not sure about the FatCash, but was $229.39 + tax for me, so great find!

Just picked mine up. A note they also include oil for it. Looks good, although normally I am anxious to use new toys, this one I don't mind waiting

The wife bought me a snow blower 3 years ago. We've hardly had any snow the last 3 years!

Can someone that has picked one up help me out? Female FW here - will this fit into the back of a minivan?

In for one for pick up later, green for OP. Looks like it can handle the snow here in PA.

Hang on I will go measure box

Yes it fit in our mini van. Chrysler town and country

Box is 31"H x 29"W x 23"deep

Edit to add...weighs about 80 lbs

NOTE...we took the back seats out...In my opinion even if you can fold them up, it will fit

Where are you in PA? I'm new here (from SC) and live in Easton (Palmer Twp). Do I need this?

who can tell what's the difference?

Sorry I don't even know where Palmer township is. You need to ask your neighbors.

IMO...its 230 bucks. I think its a great price, also has a Briggs and Stratton motor which are very solid and dependable. TO the wife and myself this was a no brainer. Will it tackle the blizzard that dumped 20 inches of snow as fast as a $1000 machine...NO

I really like the fact that you dont have to mix teh gas and oil, also it is light enough to handle. I am VERY confident in the motor and its ability to start right away, and that it will last

I also checked other brands with approx the same size motor, they go for about 600 ish and up

Again just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks! I ordered one.

Thanks a lot! But I still hesitate because this one looks almost same as the "Craftsman 4 HP Gas Snow Thrower" which is same price but the reviews are not good.

I read all the reviews on the other one.

Obviously the choice is yours...Good Luck whatever you decide... Look around and see what else is out there, and compare. Thats what I did, and for the money this won hands down.

Like you I wish this had more reviews, but the one it had was positive. I think if you look at it, that it will do the job, just not as fast as the big hogs. I think if you treat it right and dont beat the chit out of it, it will last along time. Hell if you get 4 years out of it, thats about 60 bucks a year. Keep in mind this model is for asphalt/concrete.

Google Easton, PA. Anyhow, thanks for the help.

I just bought one. I have a sidewalk in front of my home and don't want to shovel snow at 5am.

Hope I made the right decision. Never been in snow in my life, not sure what to expect.

$247 out the door, its cheaper than the electric models at Lowe's. In for 1 in Chicago. Goodbye Shovel!

Way green for you OP!

anyone knows if it's any good?

MISURICK said: anyone knows if it's any good?

Im hoping and praying that I will not be able to give you an answer for a couple years

Skipping 311 Messages...

for those curious, i had another problem with mine, when the chute ring broke it also cracked part of the auger housing. I added the in-home servicing on it, so they're going to come down and hopefully repair it, but my blower has had too many problems this winter. very poor designing on craftsmans part.
