I ordered the 250GB one. Tax was computed wrong but corrected on emailed reciept you should not pay sales tax on the coupons this is a discount. I paid $2.99 for the $25 coupon and it worked fine.

You must use the 1' cord it comes with. I tried a longer 4' one but HD was not recognized.

Inside is a WD2500BEVS drive see New Egg. It is fairly easy to open a screwdriver helps but strong fingernails might work. It is a U shaped sleeve with a 1/2" wide/thick U shaped band that goes 3/4 the way around it. Inside is an aluminum enclosure that holds the drive and USB adaptor. The drive slides out eaisly not attached in any way except friction.

Note: As with any newer drive. If your drive makes clicking noise return it. WD designed this drive to be very quite but some escape WD and aren't quiet. This happens in rare occasions. These drives that are making this noise almost always completely fail eventually (1 to 6 months).
