In for the Schnitzel

If I upgrade the ram, can I cut more wood than a woodchuck chucks? My medion from Aldi in '02 is still going strong (upgraded ram and hard drive, but overall happy with my purchase)

Looks decent, Medion has a good reputation from past Aldi deals. Can't beat the price with no rebates, probably a safe investment IMO.

I bought the chainsaw last year. Months later I took it out to do some cutting and..... couldn't. You need to get oil for the bar. Special "bar" oil. Make sure you have it, because it isn't in the box. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

Yes Triple-core. They have been around since spring at least. Here is the Newegg link for what I think is this processor:Newegg 8450

With an electric chain saw the cord is just one more thing to get cut up with your tree - ouch!
I'm looking for a chain saw but one that is gas/oil.

Aldi is owned by the same as TRADERS JOE'S. Their meats are pretty darn good. Worth a try, buy one package first and see how you like it.

Yup, I was at Trader Joes the other day and the cashier admitted to me that Aldi has many of the same private label products and that she shops at both Trader Joes and Aldi.

Other way around - Aldi is much older than Trader Joe's. One of the co-founders of Aldi (Theo Albrecht) created a trust that owns Trader Joe's.

I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that a grocery store chain is running a Electronics and Chain Saw event
