Alert yourself about important events with different alarms and replace your Windows tray clock using different skins. Computer Alarm clock that will play any MP3 file. It can also run a program, log off, wake up, reboot, shut down, turn off etc…
Atomic Alarm Clock is also an atomic-time synchrosnizer and advanced replacement for Windows tray clock. See the time, seconds, day, date, countdowns, percent of memory in use and system UpTime in different skins. Displays the time for any of the time zones. Over 130 skins are included in the distribution.
I have used this shareware since its early days and have not had problems. Sweet and simple. I don't know if it really "phones home" (I never analyzed its outbound traffic); but the atomic clock synchronization is a nice feature for many (and you can change the atomic clock server).
The problem with programs like this...there is no reinstall option...after today.

I have been using this program for sometime now, the program itself does not 'phone home' - however, all programs installed via Giveaway of the Day, do 'phone home' on the day the software is installed - and this is how they manage that the program can only be installed on a specific day only.

In some other thread related to Giveaway of the day, it was mentioned that while the program is installed, if you browse thru the Local/temp file system, you will find a file (does not have .exe in name however), that can be saved and renamed to save the program for later installation. Best way to find this is clean up the temp file structure and start install. Remember, once you finish install, all the related files will be deleted.
Considering how important the PC is I'm surprised that a better solution hasn't been found to keep the time accurate. I remember a program years ago (Windows 9x era) that would calculate how much time you lose or gain and it would automatically adjust your clock so it stays synchronized without having to constantly connect to an atomic clock. I could sure use something like that now.

In for one!! I had this program and love it. I had two other programs (Daily Alarm Clock and Alarm Clock) which are crap in compared to the simplicity and features in this program. The only reason i need to re-install this program is because my HP took a dive on me. Thanks!!! Great program.
Also, I believe that the key may be in the registry (if you know where to look...update coming) or in the about section. Google atomic alarm clock to download the trial software, then activate using the key from the current/previous install. Foresight needed

Looks like fluff, because there is no tooltip that shows additional information when we hoover over it.

i downloaded this and now i got this big ass clock on my toolbar, the next download of the day should be AOL followed by weatherbug then maybe bonzai buddy
How is this thing an ATOMIC clock if it's just a software program you download and install? It runs off your system clock the same as the windows clock that everyone already has.
I have been using Banshee Screamer for a few years now, it's always been free and it works great! It lets you use it's built in sounds, you can specify an individual MP3, or choose a multiple MP3's and it will choose a random one for you. You can also set unlimited alarms throughout the day as well. Banshee Screamer Homepage
