VerbalK said:Order from two different stores, pick up TV, get receipt. Never pick up HTS. They can't charge you for something you don't pick up, rules be damned. Correct, and since there is free delivery why not use it and order the Tv for free delivery and the HT for store pickup and you know the rest. |

I am very tempted to do this, but can anyone confirm BB refunding the full price of an item not picked up from the store that is part of a promotion? |

Correct, and since there is free delivery why not use it and order the Tv for free delivery and the HT for store pickup and you know the rest. That's what I did. My TV is scheduled for delivery next Wed. I imagine I'll get a "ready for pick up" email in the morning for the home theater. Guess I'll wait until the very last day to make a "more informed" decision on the pick up. Fingers crossed for 50" top tier Plasma for $600. |

You know guys you can always get a store credit (for surround sound) and buy something that you can resell for exact cost ie. Xbox, Wii, PS3 (holidays coming up)... or something like that. That way you still technically bought both items yet you sold the second to make up for the cost. Any thoughts.. |

My order confirmation receipt lists NOTHING about the promotion or bundle discount. It clearly lists the TV at $597 and the HT system at $429 respectively. There is no evidence thaat this was a bundle promotion and the receipt I printed proves it. There is no contest to that. |

This thread will be an interesting read over the next week or so. Since I bought in, and my set won't be delivered(Oct 1) for a week, I'll be very interested. |

You can always fleaBay the HTS for ~$350 (minus all their fees) if all else fails. (or put on Craigslist) |

So if I buy into this, and don't pick up the HT, but I'm charged a net total of the TV+tax after it is all said and done, the worst thing that can happen is I return it no harm/no foul? |

The question is, do they in fact put an authorization on the funds or charge the card when you submit the purchase??? Can anyone confirm? |

Can I just also mention that I think this TV even at $977 with the home Theater system is a pretty dam good deal as it stands? Yes, it would be great to get it for $600 (HUGE YMMV) but it is still a pretty darn sweet packaged deal. |

Any thoughts.. I think the resell idea is great. Now my question...what exactly do you mean by "get a store credit (for surround sound)?" Are you saying that only surround sound items can be exchanged for store credit? *confused* |
