Pulled the trigger following the OP's advice. The only thing that concerns me is that my confirmation page stated that my card will be charged for the $1026 (tax included). The way I look at it, it's 2 seperate transactions & the TV is at 597 & the stereo is at 397, so I'll return the stereo at a later date if need be. There's no restocking fee for the stereo and there's no indicator that it's bundled. And, if they operate like Circuit City does for instore pickups, there'll be 2 seperate reciept for returns. Made it a little better by using Best Buy Rewards card which will net 10.00 in gift cards too. Slickdeals.net just had something on their front page today (or technically yesterday for the east coast folks) about 7.00 HDMI cables. Bought 2 of those too... |

What is this Shipping and Handling Charge? Isn't that the same of Delivery Charge? The shipping fee is for the home theater set. The TV incurs no shipping or delivery charge(if it were available to be delivered). If you have to pick up the TV, you may as well pick up the HT, and avoid shipping/delivery fees. |

are you able to look at your receipt? how do you know there's no indicator for bundled? not doubting, just want to get in on it... but really can't afford pay 1k ... esp for HT system that I will NEVER use.... |

597?!?!
If I still have the balls (or the female equivalent to them) in the morning, I will do this. Will let you know how it worked out in a Houston BB.
Edit: But I have to wonder- if/when I go to pick it up, won't they wonder why I'm not picking up the rest of the order???
Also, if someone tries to return the HT, please let me know how it worked out. The refund policy makes it seem like you can return one bundled item -but there's mention of whether or not the coupon/discount will be added to your bill. Order it from two different stores. |

I think the reason why it is OOS for delivery is because the nearest Best Buy is approx. 30 minutes from me. Anyone know if this could be the case? Edit: I don't want to have to pick it up because I am not certain it will fit in my wife's Ford Fusion. |

I'm. I got in a similar deal last year, and was able to get a 42in for a buddy. No problems, this is even easier; I won't even have to lug it home. Good luck folks. |

Best Buy probably delivers from a regional warehouse for online orders. Proximity to local stores may not be relevant. Deals like this can wipe out the inventory of a local warehouse pretty quick. Same thing pretty much happened a month or so ago with their Panasonic Plasma debacle. Truck rental from Home Depot if only about $20 for the first 75 minutes. |

Well even though I could not get delivery of the tv to my address (I used a friend's) for some reason, I went ahead and placed an order. I just can't pass this up. Now my situation...1) telling my friend that I'm having a 50" plasma tv delivered to his house and 2) convincing him to buy my old 42" Panasonic. |

For those of you who are going to actually keep the Home Theater system, when you pick it up have them price match to Circuit City.com Link to Cir City's Hey its $15.00 cheaper $364.99. Makes it a bit cheaper if you have to fleabay or craigslist it |

Alright, you folks convinced me. Thanks for the quick response -- got in while there was still a location in the area with the HTIB. Let's see how this goes. |
