Does this play DIVX? |

no divx |
In for one! Please no 300 or Bourne Identity... |
I'll grab one. Why not. For that price, there are a handful of kids movies for under 3 bucks that I can get for this and keep my toddler happy. |

The SHD7000 doesn't (at least not that I've seen) bundle an HDMI cable so if you want one be sure to take a couple of minutes and order one from Amazon, 6' cables are available for under $5 shipped. While you're at it do a search from my thread from a few weeks ago on now to d/l the latest firmware from Toshiba and update it in order to help with several issues including the very slow startup and dvd-eject times. Or, you can connect it to your home network and update the firmware over the Internet. |
Or instead of searching that thread for firmware Just click Here. |

Thanks OP. I was on the edge last time this was around, and waited too long. Now, it's cheaper. This time around, I'm in for one. Thanks! |

dealsdyker said:Or instead of searching that thread for firmware Just click Here. Actually, that's an old link. Toshiba updated this week to 4.0 |
I can't find a link for 4.0 firmware with a .iso file. Anyone have that? |
How weird is that. Yesterday, I used my HD-A3 to update online. It said update already applied. (I have 3.0 installed from a couple of weeks ago). So as of yesterday, the ethernet update only offered 3.0. |
